(L->R) Wet n Wild Venomous Vixen, Toxic Apple and Lethal Injection
YAYYY! *crowd roars* I'm going to break the collection into 2 parts, there are 6 polishes total in the Wet n Wild Pick Your Poison Collection. Today I'll be covering what I call the "dark end" of the collection. Haha So, here we go!
Bottle shots, naturally:
(L->R) Wet n Wild Lethal Injection, Toxic Apple and Venomous Vixen
I put a little more light on the bottles so you could see the colors. These came across a lot darker on the nail than in the bottle:

Venomous Vixen, I honestly wasn't expecting to like this color. I grabbed the whole collection because I was so overwhelmed that I found it haha. Venomous Vixen is a dark, blackened charcoal with awesome silver shimmer. I'm not one for dark, black-ish shades like this but, I LOVED IT! I wish I could of taken a picture in the sun, oh how it sparkles! I did 3 coats, commando (no undies), and the formula was right on par with the smooth formula I'm used to from the Megalast line.
Wet n Wild Toxic Apple

Oh Toxic Apple... how gorgeous you are! This is a lot more navy looking than purple looking to me. It's such a gorgeous color though. In Toxic Apple you have a deep blue-purple base with purple and blue micro shimmer. I love how deep this polish is! Although, it was a pain in the "you know what" to photograph, I kept trying to show you the shimmer and it kept wanting to look black (you can see sommee of the shimmer in the bottom of the bottle on the 2nd pic) :[ I did 2 coats, commando!
I also have heard on my Facebook that this is a dupe of OPI Russian Navy? I don't have the OPI so I can't compare but, you can find one here.

This is another one I was kind of iffy about liking. Leathal Injection is a nice burgandy shade with shimmer. Haha this actually reminds me of a velour track suit I had in middle school, oh lordy! Anyways, this is a very pretty and vampy polish. I did 2 coats with no undies, great formula as always.
From the 3 that I swatched, which were also the first 3 I used, I was pretty impressed with these colors. I'm happy to see that the Megalast line is expanding, it is one of my favorite drugstore polish brands/line next to Revlon.
I found these polishes at Walgreen's on sale for $1.59, from the usual $1.99. I searched FOUR stores before finding these! It seems they're not consistently stocked. I've also heard that they are at Rite Aid but, I went to 3 stores and never found them haha. Come on Charleston, get with it!
I'll have Part 2 tomorrows! :]
Enjoy your day,
Ooh nice! I haven't seen these at any of my local drugstores yet. It's probably a good thing because I'm not allowed to buy polich right now anyway. I like that Toxic Apple. *mentally creating a Christmas list full of nailpolish*
ReplyDeleteoops *polish ;)
DeleteHopefully you find them soon! I consider these an exception because they're pretty cheap! LOL
DeleteOooh these are all gorgeous, especially Venomous Vixen! Sadly, I don't like these brushes but I may have to pick up a few of them anyways!
ReplyDeleteI used to HATE them haha they kinda grew on me though :]
DeleteI haven't tried this brand before, but I love when I hear about inexpensive polishes that are decent! I'm really liking the colors in this collection too.... Hmm... Just might have to make a Walgreen's trip.. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, these look gorgeous on you! I'm going to have to be on the lookout for these! :-)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!! I picked up two from this collection. Having a difficult time finding them anywhere :\
ReplyDeleteThese look great! Kinda funny. I'm usually the last one to see new polishes, but we got these a while ago. O_o Glad you finally found them!
