OPI Frog in My Throat |
Here we are again, on this lovely (rainy) Friday! Today I have a polish from OPI, which seems to be a repackaged Sephora LE color? I found this at Marshall's and it's pretty well known some of their colors are just repackaged/renamed OPI, Sephora OPI colors. But here we go!

This is Frog in My Throat, a dark brown almost black base packed with gold shimmer, orange to green iridescent flakies and silver holographic glitter. Whole lot goin' on in this polish! But OPI: pulling. it. off. So gorgeous, I saw Traci of Trace Face Philes post this on Instagram or some social media, and I knew I had to have it. I was looking for Christmas presents at Marshall's and then I found it amongst the OPI duo packages they have. I'm glad I was able to find it because it isn't disappointing by any means! This is such a pretty polish - that's all I can say about it because that's exactly what it is LOL
This is apparently, after much Googling, a repackaged 2010 Sephora OPI LE called 212-Sephora (which is going for almost $20 on Amazon?!). The polish was apparently made to commemorate the opening of Sephora in Time Square, then re-released in the SOPI Holiday Collection. Holy crap this polish has a history.
I did 4 coats of Frog in My Throat. It was most definitely on the sheer side. Although it took a minute to build up, application was nice and smooth. I waited between coats to make sure it wasn't a big goopy mess. Always a good idea with something that takes 4 coats LOL
I'm skipping the "Polish Information" box on this one because it's from Marshall's. So if you're lookin' for this I'd check out there or TJMaxx :]
Have a good one!
I'm going to have to hunt for this beauty!! :)
ReplyDeleteWorth the hunt! ;)
DeleteYep, I need it!! I'll be checking my local Marshall's and TJ Maxx next chance I get. It's gorgeous and you're right - so much going on haha, my eyes weren't sure what to go to first lol. :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! So much for sure, it all works so nicely though! Good luck findin it! I think I need to hunt a backup down :P
DeleteI found it this summer at TJ Maxx. It took me awhile to figure out what it was but I knew it wasn't Frog in My Throat. It is a beauty and in my opinion the perfect Fall color.
ReplyDeleteThere was just something about that name, like you think if that WAS the name you would of heard it before - y'know? LOL
DeleteThroughout the post I was thinking it looks exactly like 212-Sephora! I managed to get my hands on it during Sephora's clearance but it's good to know another company is making it for when I run out!
ReplyDeleteWhere were you when I was Googling! LOL jk ;] You better go find it though, they might not be making more - you know?
