Killer Queen Varnish Lip Service (L) and Walk on the Wild Side (R) |
Hi friends! Today I have a sneaky peak of some upcoming polishes from Killer Queen Varnish. I know, you're thinking "but that one... that one on the left looks familiar!" You are correctamundo, my dear. Lip Service has been reformulated and naturally I have a comparison :] Check out these 2 glittery indie polishes after the jump!

As you can see from above there are some changes to the new version of Lip Service. The glitter has been shrunken down with a shrink ray and is now microglitter. The base is a more mellow pink and crelly-esque, not a hot pink jelly as previously. IMHO, I prefer the 1st version but I do still like the 2nd version because it's simple yet spunky at the same time... and the pink looks nice on me LOL
I did 2 coats of Lip Service. Like her previous version, I'm glad to see the whole "opaque in 2 coats" thing is continued into this version. Application was on point, gave me no problems at all. It also dried super quickly!

The other polish I have for you today is Walk on the Wild Side. This is a glitter topper filled with black, light purple, aqua, light blue, light hexes and circles of various sizes, along with tiny gold glitter and cheetah/leopard/whatever print shaped glitter. How fun is this?!
I did 2 coats of Walk on the Wild Side over another Killer Queen Varnish, Shake Sugaree. The application of the polish in general had no issues. However, like any other shaped glitter I had to fish a bit to to grab the cheetah print glitters. I think it's better to place these glitters yourself anyways. No dry time issues :]
So there ya have it! New polishes from Killer Queen Varnish, coming THIS Friday! Stay tuned to her Instagram to keep tabs on the release, other sneak peeks and more.
Have a good one!
