MILANI Red Sparkle (& CHINA GLAZE Electrify)

Pin It I recently got a coupon from CVS for $3 off any purchase for my birthday! Of course I had to buy polish bahah!

I went with Milani Red Sparkle
Pictures and a pretty sweet mani after the jump!
Now my sister sent me a picture of her Milani One Coat Glitter a few months ago. I was all excited because it was PURELY red glitter. Well I searched 3 CVSs and it seems that Milani has replaced the original Red Sparkle (pure red glitter) with this NEW Red Sparkle (red and gold glitter). Disappointed, I got it anyway because my coupon was going to expire.

Now, "One Coat Glitter" doesn't mean it's going to be opaque in one brush stroke haha, it means that in one coat you will have a ton of glitter. (Just thought I'd clear that up for anyone hopeful - like me) I had no issues getting a good chunk of glitter on to my nail. I was actually liking how this looked! It took 3 coats to get good coverage. 

After I put it on I thought to myself "WOAH! This is the opposite of Electrify by China Glaze) And so this results haha:

Pretty freaking sweet, I think! Red Sparkle has the exact glitter ratio and coverage that Electrify has. I only did 2 coats of Electrify, but 3 would of been the best. Electrify and Red Sparkle also seem to have a similar formula. If you are planning to wear either of these glitters alone, with many coats, I suggest you wait a little between the coats to avoid sliding around.

I have a pretty cool idea for next week for you guys! Given all goes well when I execute it today bahaha!
