WHIMSICAL IDEAS BY PAM: Seuss & Kitty Glitter

Today I have some super unique polishes for you, more indie polishes! These unique mixes are made by a lovely lady named Pam at Whimsical Ideas by Pam. I only bought two, but I can guarentee I'll have more for you guys!

Check out the stuff after the jump!
Top: Seuss, Bottom: Kitty Glitter

I saw a blogger (I can't remember who, ugh!) post about getting her Pam polishes in the mail so I decided to check it out! I knew I HAD to have Seuss because 1) it's obviously awesome and 2) it's pretty close to my wedding colors ;]

So here is Seuss! I layered it over Sinful Colors Why Not to save the polish, I thought it was a pretty good match. If you plan on wearing this on it's own, it has a COOL layering effect, very jelly sandwich like, but it takes a few coats for opacity.

Here is 2 coats of Seuss over 2 coats of Why Not:

How AWESOME are those colors?! If I was to make a polish called Seuss, this is what it would look like! But that's not happening because this is too amazing! Seuss has large silver hex glitter, red hex glitter and blue micro-shimmer through out all suspended in a jelly-like blue/turquoise-ish base. YUM! I had no application issues and I was pleasantly surprised I didn't have to dab and dot glitter on my nail, one brush stroke is packed with a good chunk of glitter! If you are going to layer, I suggest you wait in between coats to avoid sliding around. Another surprise for this polish, it ALMOST didn't need a top coat, that's how smooth it laid. I was shocked! I can't name an indie glitter polish in my collection (and I have a good chunk) that does not need at least one coat of top coat. Ugh, so in love.

Now Kitty Glitter is my favorite. I'll show you why

Top: Revlon Starry Pink and Bottom: Whimsical Ideas by Pam Kitty Glitter

That's Revlon Starry Pink (AKA Popular), one of my favorite polishes. LOOK HOW PERFECT THEY ARE FOR EACH OTHER! :] That is why I got Kitty Glitter :D Seriously, that is why I got it haha.

ON TO THE SWATCHES! I layered it over Revlon Blue Lagoon, which was the closest thing I had to the base color (which is almost a grey-ish tiffany), I would of used a China Glaze For Audrey like color but I wanted something a little "lighter looking". Meh, close enough.

Oh my stars, I am in love. That's 2 coat of Blue Lagoon with 2 coats of Kitty Glitter on top. How gorgeous? No application issues, again. And as before, perfect amount of glitter! No bottle rolling, no dipping and dabbing. And again, like Seuss, barely needs a top coat! There is large silver hex glitter mixed in with tiny silver glitter. If you know what Revlon Starry Pink/Popular looks like, it's the exact same just with MORE larger silver glitter.

You didn't think I'd leave you without a picture of Kitty glitter and Starry Pink would you? If you're on Facebook and Instagram with me you've seen this. But pft, it's WORTH another look!

Oh, sweet baby Jesus. How perfectly amazing is that combo? This  was one of those manicures where I could not stop looking at my fingers!

TL;DR?!: Whimsical Ideas by Pam are really awesome indie polishes, I was totally impressed. If you haven't checked them out, I suggest you do. With so many indie brands, you think ideas would start to repeat but her polishes are SUPER unique. I had no application issues with these polishes what so ever. I was super impressed by the amount of glitter I got in a brush stroke, no dipping and dabbing and I didn't roll the bottle or anything. These polishes seem to dry pretty fast. BUT I do warn you, if you're planning on layering this polish over itself to make it opaque: let it dry between layers!

You can buy Whimsical Ideas by Pam from her Facebook. You simply choose which polishes you would like to buy in her albums, then email her at pea422000@yahoo.com. She will invoice you and you just pay through Paypal and your polishes will be in your mailbox pretty freaking quickly! They are $10 a bottle, and shipping is pretty standard pricing for polishes.

I hope you guys enjoyed these beauties!

Until tomorrow,
Lacey
