L->R: Twilight Rays, Saphire Siren, and Tenacious Teal
Swatches/Reviews after the jump!
So I walked into the ONE Walmart that I didn't check, I didn't think they would have any! When holy cow - an entire display! I picked up 3 more which I felt were the most unique out of the bunch. There were some pinks, purples and blues that also were unique but they didn't seem like something I'd wear. Of course there's your basic light pink, red and orange too!
Here is Tenacious Teal:

I know one of my girls on IG said she was having issues with the formulas of these polishes. I haven't had any issues what so ever, everything went fine and dandy! This is 2 coats of Tenacious Teal with a coat of Seche. My computer screen is making this look teal, but in real life to me it looks a LOT more of a dusty green than any teal I have ever seen, not sure if that is how it's looking on your ends. Even then, I don't have any green polishes like it - which is why I grabbed it!
Next I have for you is Sapphire Siren:
Maybelline Color Show Sapphire Siren, 2 coats
Maybelline Color Show Sapphire Siren, 2 coats
The reason I grabbed this polish is because 1) I'm a sucker for blues (and greens as you can see from the last polish hahahah) and 2) It reminded me of a creme version of Revlon Royal. Whiiiich if you see my comparisons below, Royal is probably the LEAST similar. This was 2 coats of Sapphire Siren, 1 coat of Seche and again no formula issues! I wouldn't call this polish a true creme polish, it reminds me of both a creme and a jelly. It is a VERY pretty navy blue though!
Here are my comparisons!
L->R: Revlon Royal, China Glaze First Mate, Maybelline Sapphire Siren and Sally Hansen Thinking of Blue
As you can see, Royal was pretty far off from being similar - much brighter! To my surprise it was pretty freaking close to Sally Hansen Thinking of Blue. I'm not a fan of the Sally Complete Salon Manicure line, I hate the brushes and moooost of the formulas.
Here is my comparison of the two on the nail:
Comparison of Maybelline Sapphire Siren (SS) and Sally Hansen Thinking of Blue (TOB)
I feel like Thinking of Blue is SLLIGGGHHTTTLYY more dusty and creme than Sapphire Siren is. There is a difference but not much. You can't even tell a difference when you hold your hand at arm's length. So if you have one, you don't need the other. And I THINK that Thinking of Blue is discontinued (don't quote me, k?), so Sapphire Siren would be a perfect runner up... I almost like it better colorwise.
Last but OBVIOUSLY not least is Twilight Rays:

This polish is what my sister sent me a bottle picture of. I don't think I can recall seeing a black with gold glitter in it? (again don't quote me haha) I'm not a fan of black polishes on me, but the gold on this makes me love it oh so much! And the glitter? They're more like small gold flakes, the glitter isn't perfectly round - this is a lot more apparent on the nail. 2 coats, seche, and again: no formula or application issues!
And thennnnn I stamped!
Bundle Monster 201
This is Bundle Monster Plate 201 stamped with MAC Cosmetics Immortal Gold! I almost didn't want to take it off it was so awesome looking!
Over all, I DO like these Maybelline Color Show polishes. I do not have a favorite, I like them all very much! I like that they have some unique polishes in this line in comparison to others on the market. I had zero appication or formula issues. I have no complaints about the brushes or handle. My only complaint (still) is that the bottle is only .23 oz haha :P
You can find these at Walmart for $2.97, rumor has it they're also at Walgreens although I haven't found them yet.
Hope you guys enjoyed these pretty polishes!
Until tomorrow,
You've sold me! I'm not a drug store polish girl, how ever I'll be geting these from walmart.
