Color Block Nail Art

Happy Hump Day! So the blog post I had PLANNED for today got deleted somehow? *sigh* who likes plans anyways?! This girl right here.

So instead of my swatch of a new Color Club polish, I will be showing you some nail art I did for a contest I entered last night on Instagram :D YAY

More nail art pictures, polishes I used and how you can replicate this after the jump!

Now the nail art contest rule was you have to use FIVE colors, either being all on one nail or one color on each nail. Well one color on each nail seemed too DUH to me, so I did this instead :] Here are the colors I used, they worked great together!

L->R:
China Glaze Four Leaf Clover
China Glaze Traffic Jam
China Glaze First Mate
Barielle Grape Escape
Zoya Trixie

This nail art is pretty simple to replicate, it might not look like it but it is! All I did was paint 2 coats of Zoya Trixie the, I taped a line down the middle and 2 other lines extending from the center line with nail striping tape. Then, I just filled in the 4 different squares with different colors :] Told ya it was easy!

Yeah, I realize my middle, ring and pinky finger all have Four Leaf Clover on the same side haha. I was so paranoid about getting 2 color replicated in the same spot, that I did just that... Woops! Still looked cool to me :] I'm not ready to take it off yet!

Until Tomorrow (hopefully with the planned post...),
Lacey
