I haven't found an EXACT year of when these came out but one website did say 2008, not sure about that or not haha. Sweet Nothings also apparently has a second half to the collection called Dark Pleasures! These collections are sheer polishes that can be worn on their own or as a top coat.
Jump over and I'll show you my Sweet Nothings ;]
First I'm going to show you guys Rendez-Blue! Rendez-Blue is a sheer aqua blue shimmer polish that flashes pink. It also has some tiny gold-ish flakies! Guys - this polish is freaking GORGEOUS in the bottle. I could stare at it for hours. HOURS. The reason why I bought this polish was because I saw a swatch on Google that reminded me of Rescue Beauty Aqua Lily since I wasn't able to get a bottle of it the first time around.
On to the swatches! First, I swatched 1 coat over China Glaze For Audrey:

Not QUITE RBL Aqua Lily, but it will have to do until the Fall haha. The shimmer is a lot more pink in real life, more like the close up shot.
Next, I swatched 1 coat over a darker color Nicole OPI Green Up Your Act:

Next is Sweet Nothings Lilac Lingerie. Like Rendez-Blue, Lilac Lingerie is a sheer polish. The polish is a shimmery cream colored base, with the same tiny gold flakies in Rendez-Blue. The color flashes in Lilac Lingerie is very similar to Rendez-Blue but more bright, medium, purple color. Here are some swatches!
First, I swatched 1 coat over Wet n Wild Through the Grapevine:

Over Through The Grapevine it doesn't look so purple-y, more of a yellow-gold-ish flash. Still a pretty effect to add to any polish!
You can really see the purple when I swatched 1 coat of Lilac Lingire over Zoya Caitlin:

AHH! There's the shimmer I wanted you to see! :]
You can find these old Revlons on eBay (where I found mine, when I misspelled the word SHEER, and put SHEET instead haha) or on Amazon! I'm not sure how many colors there are, I THINK there are 4 colors in each the Sweet Nothings collection and the Dark Pleasures collection.
What do you think of these pretties? Any other "vintage finds" worth me looking up?
Until tomorrow,
Lacey
They look simple, but cool! Like you said, it changes every nailpolish a little bit by just adding it as topcoat.
