MAKEUP YOUR FACE: 2012 Winter Collection [Part 2]

Pin It Sorry I didn't post yesterday! It's not like me to not post, or at least tell you I'm not posting haha. It was just a weird day for me!

Anyways, I'm back with the other 2 polishes in the Makeup Your Face Winter Collex.

Makeup Your Face Winter Wonderful and Snow Angel

Makeup Your Face Winter Wonderful

Winter Wonderful, reminds me of icicles! Although I haven't seen an icicle since 1st grade LOL that's what I think of :P Winter Wonderful is described as "a light blue not-quite-jelly-not-quite-cream polish that goes opaque in 2-3 coats. It's filled with white and holographic hexes and holographic stars with a holographic shimmer in the base". I really love the holographic shimmer! That's my favorite part :]

I did 3 coats of Winter Wonderful, no undies. I only did 3 coats because you could still see my stained nails haha, if you nails are not stained, you could probably get away with 2 coats ;] I did have a little trouble getting the glitter out. Otherwise, it was a very smooth application and dried pretty fast!

Next is Snow Angel. I didn't think of having 2 blue polishes in the same post so I swatched it over 2 colors to kill monotony.

I think this is my favorite out of the 4 in the collex. Snow Angel is made up of "white hexes in different sizes, gold glitter with scattered silver glitter". What a perfect name for this holiday polish! Totally reminds me of sparkling snow.

I did 1 layer over each swatch of Color Club Perfect Molten and China Glaze Kinetic Candy. I was impressed with the coverage, I thought it would be more sparse - nope! The larger white hex were not hard to get out of the bottle either :] No dipping and dabbing, smooth application and decent dry time as usual.
