12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge: Day 5 - Holiday Movie

Pin It Today is day FIVE in the 12 Days of Nail Art Challenge! The theme is favorite HOLIDAY movie!


Soooo by default since it's actually one of my favorite favorite movies and I love me some Will Ferrell, I did ELF nails! :]

And there you have it! ELF nails! :] I had fun doing these. I was trying to think of ideas from the movie to put on my nails, I was stumped with one nail. Husband was like "MR. NARWHAL!" haha so I did Mr. Narwhal! I really wanted to do the rabid raccoon but, that proved harder on the nail than in my mind haha

If you're not entirely sure about the pinky, it's Buddy eating spaghetti with syrup, marshmallows and candy :D

Here's my breakdown:


Mr. Narwhal nail: Rainbow Honey Kawako, Essie Aruba Blue, Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Zoya Dove and China Glaze Kinetic Candy

Elf suit: A mix of Sinful Colors Envy and Pure Ice Femme Fatale, Sinful Colors Snow Me White, Maybelline Bold Gold, and China Glaze Happy Go Lucky

Empire State Building nail: Sinful Colors Snow Me White with Zoya Kirsten sponged on, Zoya Dove and Sinful Colors Black on Black

Spaghetti and syrup nail: Sinful Colors Envy, OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys, Sinful Colors Snow Me White, China Glaze Lemon Fizz, mix of ChG Lemon Fizz and OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys (to make the noodles lookl like noodles? lol), and a mix of China Glaze Desert Sun and OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys (syrup), Pure Ice Silver Mercedes, Maybelline Bold Gold and random colors for candy!

PHEW! So many colors for one mani, eh?


Almost halfway through! I feel like it's all downhill from here, holiday movie was  the one I was most worried about haha Happy hump day!
