REVLON: Girly & Heavenly

Good evening! Figured  I'd write this post up before we get slammed by a storm and the power is potentially lost!

Revlon Girly (left) and Heavenly (right)

These are 2 new Revlon polishes! Nail bloggers seem to be desperately trying to find them! THANKFULLY after stalking the heck out of K-mart and Rite Aid, I found the last 2 bottles in my Rite Aid store! It's kind of funny, I was thinking last night how this time last year I was searching for Revlon Starry Pink/Popular and Whimsical! Haha

Like Revlon Whimsical was a dupe of Glitter in the Air, one of these Revlon polishes seem to be another dupe for a Deborah Lippmann polish. Revlon Girly and Heavenly are what I will be swatching today, they both come from Revlon's Bubble Gum Days Urban Nights Collection.

Swatches and such after the jump!

I really love these, unique mainstream polishes always get my blood rushing! Haha

I don't really enjoy how Girly looks against my skin on it's own. I don't know what it is. I think next time, I'll layer it over a pink base.

Girly is a light pink jelly polish with dark purple, fuchsia and light pink hex. I did 3 coats above, no undies or top coat. Girly had a smooth application and the glitter coverage was good. The dry time was decent, very similar to Popular and Whimsical if you have those. While I LOVE the unique look of this polish, definitely layering over another pink next time!

This is Revlon Heavenly, my favorite out of the 2 I picked up. I've read around the interwebs that Heavenly is a dupe of Lippmann's Stairway to Heaven. I don't have the DL version but here is a good comparison post.

Heavenly is made up of iridescent glitter, green with blue shifting squares and orange to red shifting hex. It's a really pretty mix! I did 1 coat over Zoya Natty. Dry time and coverage of the glitter was good with this one.

Good luck if you're looking for these, they're worth having I think!

  1. Heavenly is super pretty! And I agree I think Girly would look better with pink undies. But it's indeed pretty and unique ;D

  5. Girly looks great in jelly sandwiches! I did one with it between coats of Pure Ice Monte Cristo and it looked great! Love the glitter combo in it for sure.
