SERUM NO 5: May Flowers

Serum No. 5 May Flowers

Happy Friday! Today I have a pretty little Serum No 5 polish to show you! I will be showing you a series of Serum No 5 polishes, so this is one if many posts. Jump over for swatch and review!

I love her packaging! If you saw me post on IG, you know I died over them haha. In addition to being cute as hell, it also contains the polish information:

And my spiffy macro shot:

I had a hard time deciding what to layer this one over. Mostly because there's a ton of possibilities! I decided to keep it pretty neutral looking to allow the glitter to speak for itself:

I'm not who likes shaped glitter, I try to avoid polishes with it actually haha. I didn't hate the shapes in May Flowers, but I do say they worked really well for this polish! They also lay mega flat, always a plus in my book :]

May Flowers (love the name!) is a clear base with holographic butterflies, yellow flowers, matte green, light green, pink and light blue hex. My favorite part of this polish is the micro flakies! May Flowers has iridescent micro flakies that flash blue/green and pink. The flakies are similar to those in Essie's As Gold As it Gets.

I did 2 coats over Julep Debra (one of my FAVORITE Julep one coaters). It was a breeze to apply, and dried quickly. The glitter had great coverage, I did have to fish for some shape glitter though - understandable. I usually DON'T fish for shaped glitter, but without it... this polish just isn't itself! I love how cutesy it is :) No complaints from Lacey on this polish!
