RAINBOW HONEY: Mint Flavor, Tessie, & Magic Cake

Hey peoples! Today I'm reviewing 3 out of the 10 polishes from the NEW Rainbow Honey Summer of 199X Collection! I'm personally super excited about this collection, and if I had $100 in my pocket to spend I'd blow it on THIS. Haha I have swatch and review of 2 of the shimmer creme polishes and 1 glitter topper after the jump :]

If those macros don't get the party going, I don't know what to tell you. (I feel like I've said that line before. Have I said that line before? I'm crazy.)

Rainbow Honey Mint Flavor

The shimmer is a lot more apparent in person, it was hard to get a shot of it with the dumb weather we've had. ANYYYYWHOOO Mint Flavor is a glassfleck shimmery mint creme polish, which can appear minty in some light and lighter blue in other light. I think my nail macro shows the most accurate color. I'm really loving the shimmer in this! I'm a sucker for shimmer :P

I did 2 coats of Mint Flavor. The application was smooth and it dried in good time. I'm always hesitant with indie creme polishes but I think Rainbow Honey does a great job at executing them.

Rainbow Honey Tessie

Tessie is a periwinkle with pretty glassfleck shimmer. I'm in love with the shimmer in Tessie. Again, as above, this one shimmers a lot more in real life and the nail macro captures it the best out of my swatches.

This was 2 coats of Tessie. Again, I had no issues with application or dry time. Everything was good to go!

Rainbow Honey Magic Cake over Mint Flavor

Magic Cake is one of the two glitter toppers in the collection. It is made up of neon colored squares and hexes of different sizes. It also has some shimmery microflakies. I'm in love with the name haha! I don't have many neon glitter toppers, surprisingly even though everyone seems to have one, and I really like the colors in this one!

I layered 2 coats Magic Cake over both Mint Flavor and Tessie. The application was good and all the glitters came out perfectly, even the large hexes! No issues with this one :]

The Summer of 199X was just recently released so you can get your hands on these pretties whenever you'd like!
