SERUM NO. 5: Sunset Flare, Eternal Sunshine & Burning Orchid

Serum No. 5 (L->R) Sunset Flare, Eternal Sunshine
& Burning Orchid

I mentioned I had a 2nd part to my last Serum No.5 post! Well that's what I have for you today :] Some interesting polishes with flashes of color that glow in the dark! I'd like to thank Victoria for being ultra patient with me and this review <3 Review/swatches after the jump!

I didn't take macros of these polishes in the bottle, it's better to show them off on the nail!

Sunset Flare is a redish polish with flashes of orange, which also glows in the dark! The color flash is a lot more obvious in person, I struggled to capture it in pictures. It reminds me of a less metallic, toned down version of Sally Hansen Lustre Shine Lava. In the dark, this one has a green glow.

I did 3 coats of Sunset Flare. It was a little on the sheer side, so I think next time I will pair with some undies. Application was smooth with no issues and it dried in good time.

I think today I realized while watermarking, gold colors like this just do not look that awesome on me haha especially when my skin is throwing a fit. Eternal Sunshine is a shimmery golden yellow and at some points you can see a green flash, it's pretty subtle though and I couldn't get an accurate shot of it :[ This also glows green in the dark!

This was 3 coats of Eternal Sunshine. Again, I think I'd layer this over some undies if I was to wear it again, it's just a little too sheer for my taste. However, no issues with appreciation and a good dry time was found :]

My skin was really startin' to be pissed at me after this polish - sorry guys! Anyways, Burning Orchid is a sheer, white polish with orchid color sparks in it. IT GLOWS IN THE DARK BLUE!!! It reminds me of x-rays hahah (what? idk.)

I did 3 coats of Burning Orchid. I think this one benefits the most from being layered, probably over a white. The dry time was a little slower than the others, so I'd wait in between coats a little bit more. The application was smooth and no issues. Really like how the glow in the dark shows my uneven polishing? lmao damn. SUCH a tattletale!
