Zoya Fall 2013 Cashmeres Collection |
Today I have the creme set of polishes from Zoya's Fall 2013 collection, The Cashmeres. I don't know about you guys but Zoya's Fall cremes are always the #1 collection I look forward to every year. After the jump let me share with you my swatches and review of these 6 polishes.
No bottle macros, that's kinda pointless :P
All swatches are done without top coat.

Zoya Livingston |

Zoya Livingston |
Livingston is described as a "
lush autumn red". This is definitely an awesome red creme that doesn't disappoint! I don't think I've met a red Zoya creme I haven't liked, I can add this one to my list as well haha. I did 2 coats of Livingston. It had a great application with a good dry time. I think I should of done one more coat, with my nails a little longer now.

Zoya Pepper |

Zoya Pepper |
This color
screams fall to me the most out of the Cashmeres Collection. This reminds me of a lot of
Zoya Cola. I might have to insert a comparison later, it didn't occur to me until a few days after haha. ANYWAYS! Zoya Pepper is described as "
a brick red cream". I did 2 coats of Pepper. I did find this application to be a little thicker than its red counterpart, but it wasn't unmanageable, just a little bit of a dragging feeling.

Zoya Sailor |

Zoya Sailor |
Obviously I like this one for it's name :P Besides the fact it's a blue creme that is haha. Sailor is described as a "
classic dark navy cream". I have to say I was a litttttle bit dissapointed because I expected this to be a darker and deeper of navy shade. It's still a great dusty navy nonetheless. I did 2 coats of Sailor, I didn't have any issues with application or dry time.

Zoya Hunter |

Zoya Hunter |
Dark greens are my weakness, so it's no surprise that this a favorite of mine Hunter is "
a dark sea green cream". All I think of when I see this color (besides what an awesome green it is) is copious amounts of plaid haha! Hunter was flawless to apply in 2 coats and gave me no issues while drying either.

Zoya Louise |
|
Zoya Louise |
|
Zoya Louise |
Louise is a "
rich chocolate brown cream", makes your nails look like little chocolate drops! This is a great, rich, brown shade that I'm very pleased about being in this collection. I've been patiently waiting for a chocolate-esque creme from Zoya. I have
Zoya Codie, but it's a tad dark for what I was looking for (still a great brown though!). I did 2 coats of Louise. I had no issues, application was great and so was the dry time.

Zoya Flynn |
|
Zoya Flynn |
|
Zoya Flynn |
Flynn is a "
lush camel brown nude cream". Such an elegant looking color. It automatically reminds me of the tan the famous Burberry plaid! I'm not quite sure how I like this color on me, but it is a great neutral shade of polish. I did 2 coats of Flynn. She gave me no issues and dry time was great.
I decided to get a nail art on with these colors, they were screamin' at me. I had to!

Nail art with matte top coat |
For some reason all these colors together screamed a rose manicure to me. I used Livingston and Pepper to create the roses, Hunger for the leaves, Sailor for the poka dot accents, and Flynn as the base. I used NYC Matte Crazy in the 2nd picture for a matte look :] All these colors together are very vintage to me! What do you think?
My top 3 colors from this collection: Louise, Hunter and Sailor.
Talk to ya later!
