Vivid Lacquer Mega Slut (L), Dragon Fetish (R),
and stamping plates |
Long time no post... Okay not that long lmfao. I've been without WIFI since Wednesday, #firstworldproblems haha Today I have 2 polishes
and 2 stamping plates made by Vivid Lacquer! After the jump I have
swatches and nail art I created with the plates :)

First up is Mega Slut. This is a "
bright pink polish with
raspberry holo glitter and pink shimmer". I really love how the shimmery flakies in
this one! It kinda gives it a 3D effect, I think haha or I'm crazy :P
I did 3 coats alone for opacity. It dries
quickly because it has a fairly thin formula. I had some noticeable
balding but with the 3rd coat evened it out. No major issues at all.

I was super excited to try this polish. When I took it
out of the bubble wrap I went "OOOHHHHHH!!!!" Haha. Dragon Fetish is "a
berry red/green duochrome crelly". I couldn't of been more excited when
the synchromesh effect transferred perfectly on the nail!
This
formula was also a bit thin, I needed 4 coats of Dragon Fetish. The
thinner formula allows for a shorter drying time, which I'm okay with.
I'm not sure if its just my bottle or what, but I noticed like...
Pigment clumps? I shook the bottle and tried to smooth them out as much
as I could. They weren't noticeable if you smooth them out, otherwise
they kinda look like specks of something on your nail. Otherwise, no issues.

I had a Vivid Lacquer plate waiting at my parents for
me. I could twitch because I'm so excited to have it in my hands on
Monday lmao. In the meantime, Vivid Lacquer sent me 2 plates to play
with.

The VL006 mani is my favorite, I think it's the
colors haha. I really love the recessed look of the flowers on my accent
fingbee with the VL008 mani. It looks SO cool. These images are
intricate and fun. I didn't have any issues with VL006. Everything
seemed to pickup well and the images were crisp. I tried it on some
paper, should of showed you lmao *facepalm*. VL008 was just as crisp
image-wise; however, I did have issues with the "bee lines". I couldn't
seem to get them to pick up :( I tried my usual stamping black and
white, no beans. I might try again at another time. In general I didn't have any issues with these plates. The designs are super unique and I can't wait to have the one I ordered in my hands... I also NEED to get my hands on that dinosaur one :P

Ooooh pretty!! Love the silver feather, I may have to invest in that plate just for the feather stamp haha. Lovely designs :)
