Zoya Fall 2013 Satins Collection |
Hi guys, today I have the 2nd part of the Zoya Fall 2013 Collection, the Satins. Sorry to make you wait so long for these, the slipped my mind! Oh the things you find when you're cleaning out your iPhone images haha. If you missed the Cashmeres Collection post, you can find it here. Let's jump in shall we?

First up is Zoya Channing, "a rusty or coppery red metallic". I don't know about y'all but when I think of Fall, this is the sort of color that first pops into my head. It just has that glowing color of pumpkin, cinnamon, crunchy leaves, and everything fall embraces. I did 2 coats of Channing, it gave me no issues during application and had a good dry time.

Zoya Mason is a "red violet or 'Fandango Pink' metallic". While this isn't my favorite color in the bunch (for obvious reasons) I do enjoy the sparks of red in this fuchsia pink polish. I also like when the light hits this polish it really sparkles. I did 2 coats of Mason. It again gave me no issues during application and dry time was great.

This was my favorite out of the 6, such a gorgeous color. It took my breath away even more once it was on my nail! Zoya describes Giovanna as a "stunning emerald green metallic", and that's exactly what it is - plus tons of sparkle. I feel like I've been looking for the perfect emerald polish this year and this fits the bill perfectly. This polish had a great application and was great in 2 coats. Like the others, it also had a great dry time.
Zoya Neve |

This was my 2nd favorite, and that macro should explain why it is haha. Plus, I'm a sucker for blues. Neve is a "sapphire blue metallic". I think this one comes alive in the sun the most, and look at dat macro! Pretty sparks of color galore! Right up my alley ;] I did 2 coats of Neve with 0 application issues and a fine dry time.

Claudine is my least favorite, but still a really pretty color. I'm just not a fan of black-ish-grey polishes on me haha. Claudine is a "striking dark meteorite gray metallic". In the sun it almost looked like there were some coppery sparks in it, or I'm just crazy haha. Can you see it in the picture? Or is it just me? I did 2 coats of Claudine, dry time was great and so was the application.

Last, but certainly not least is Maria-Luisa, a "gold cellophane accent topper". There's a like and a dislike to this polish for me: I like that it can look differently in different light. The light can catch it and it can look bright and gold, or a deeper coppery color. What I dislike is that it reminds me of fish flakes lmao. I think it has to do with the color of the flakies. Or maybe, again, I'm just crazy hahahah. I did 2 coats over each color in this set. The application was smooth and full of flakies. It gave me no issues.
My top 3 must have colors from this collection: Giovanna, Neve, and Channing.
Hope you enjoyed!
PS: I have a surprise tomorrow :D
