THE HUNGRY ASIAN: Holiday 2013 Collection PART I [Snow Sprinkles, Evergreen, Who Needs Diamonds, & Happy Blue Year]

The Hungry Asian (L->R) Snow Sprinkles, Evergreen,
Who Needs Diamonds, & Happy Blue Year

Hi guys! Today I have half of The Hungry Asian's 2013 Holiday Collection! Kae was nice enough to send this collection over to me, how could I say no! I'm super excited to share this collection with you. It's a mix of "typical" Holiday-esque polishes, and some other colors that would be perfect for any time! Today I have 4 of the 7 to show you, so check back for the 2nd part :] But in the meantime, check out these swatches after the jump!

First up is Snow Sprinkles! This is a "white base with teal, blue, red, and pink hex glitters. It also has baby pink stars". We all know I'm not a white polish fan, so it's hard for me to get amped up about this polish, sorry! For some reason it reminds me of sprinkles and marshmallows haha, and the movie ELF? LOL

I did 3 coats of Snow Sprinkles, no top coat. I didn't have any issues with application, I did have to fish for a few stars but I expected that. Because it's a white base, I'd wait between layers a bit - especially with 3 layers. :]

This is one of my favorites. Probably shouldn't surprise my regular readers haha, dark green makes me weak at the knees! Evergreen is a "dark olive green with green and blue micro glitter". The extra bit of sparkle this polish brings is just enough to make this polish special without being in your face. :]

I did 2 coats of Evergreen. The application was great and was without issues. The dry time was also great. It was a little thirsty after the 2nd coat, I kinda regret not swatching with a top coat. My b!

You already saw this pretty little polish in my November favorites video! This is Who Needs Diamonds, it is a "gold top coat, gold shimmer base". The ways the light hits the glitter in this polish is phenomenal. I really do love this polish and it looks great over nearly any color!

I did 1 coat of Who Needs Diamonds, over Evergreen from above.  I was impressed with the great coverage of this glitter. It also had a great app and dry time. All this totally earned it a spot in my top November polish :]

Sorry about the crappy macro, I forgot to take one :[ Anyways - Happy Blue Year is a "dark blue jelly with red, purple and silver small hexes and large holographic silver hex glitter". It's like fireworks in the night sky! I love the color of this blue jelly by the way. :]

I did 3 coats of Happy Blue Year, no top coat. The application was great, there was no need to fish for the larger hexes. The glitter coverage was great. The dry time was alright, a typical jelly dry time - allowing time between coats is a good thing to keep in mind :]
