BORN PRETTY STORE: Gold Spikes & Mini Stars

Born Pretty Store nail art goodies

Today I have some nail art goodies courtesy of Born Pretty Store to share with you! They sent me 4 different items but I'm only going to show you 2 today so I don't overwhelm you with awesomeness ;] Today's post will feature the neon metal stars and the gold spikes! Check out how I used them after the jump :]

This is the first look I created using the gold spikes:

I painted my nails with Zoya Cho. I used the spikes and some clear rhinestones that I had to make an alternating pattern. I really wanted pearls but I couldn't find mine D: I stamped a floraly lace pattern on the rest of my nails with Square Hue Buckingham. I added a wide stripe of Buckingham at the base of my nails and added a few spikes to tie in the design :]

I know that design isn't for everyone, I was really in love with the accent nail I created so I went for something simpler:

Same accent nail, I just painted the other nails entirely in Square Hue Buckingham :] I wish I had some nail art glue because I totally would of worn this in life places haha. I applied them with Seche Vite.

Here's the design I created using the mini stars:

I created a galaxy design with some sponges using various colors over black, plus I topped it off some silver glitter. I placed the stars in various places on my nail after adding top coat. Easy peasy! I was quite impressed how flat these were on my nail.

You can find both of these items on the Born Pretty Store website for under $5. You can find the stars, here, and the spikes, here. And if you want to see the other 2 designs I created with the water slide decals and the chains - stick around to see them later this week :D

Don't forget, you can also get a 10% discount using my discount code:

  1. I love these tiny studs. I also have some spikes from BPS, but they are larger and easier to accidentally get knocked off that yours.
