Zoya Naturel Collection |
Hi guys! Today I have the Zoya Naturel Collection to show you. This collection is filled with what Zoya describes as "Naturel Rose Tone Nudes". I am not crazy about nude polishes lol. If you haven't noticed my skin has a tendency to look quite red, I feel that nude polishes don't really help me out in that department. But I'm swatching them for you of course! I'm more of a fan of the darker half of this collection. Need a palate cleanser? Check these polishes out after the jump :]
Zoya Chantal |
Zoya Chantal |
Chantal is described as a "delicious full-coverage, French Vanilla cream". When I see this color I automatically think of a creamy foundation lmfao You can really see what I was talking about with nude polishes against my skin making my fingers look bright red :[ This would be the perfect nude, mannequin-hand polish for someone who isn't me.
I did 3 coats of Chantal. I could of gotten away with 2 coats but I had a little bit of balding so a 3rd was needed. The application was that of a typical Zoya creme, no issues. Dry time was also great :]
Zoya Taylor |
Zoya Taylor |
The bottom shot has the same polishes, NO idea why they look different O.o silly lighting. Can't wait for a lightbox... ANYWAYS - Taylor is a "full-coverage, light toffee cream". Still not a polish for my skin, but that's okay lol. This one is slightly darker than Chantal, a touch of brown.
I did 3 coats of Taylor. It experienced the same slight balding as I did with Chantal. Application was smooth and easy, dry time was without problems.
Zoya Rue |
Zoya Rue |
Rue is a "full-coverage, boudoir blush cream". I think this is a step in the right direction for me! However it gives me a weird purple-y appearance around my cuticles. I just can't win with this collection :[ I do like this color - as a color - though.
I did 3 coats of Rue. There wasn't as much balding as the first nude shades, but it still needed a 3rd to even it out. No application or dry time issues :]
Zoya Brigitte |
Zoya Brigitte |
NOW I realize why I always am drawn to mauve shades haha. They satisfy my need for a palate cleanser and the redness in my hands. Brigitte is a 'full-coverage, bombshell mauve cream". I really like the vintage feel of this polish - or is it just me who gets that? LOL!
I did 2 coats of Brigitte. This is more what I'm used to with a Zoya creme :] The application was great, smooth and great coverage. The dry time was great and without issues.
Zoya Odette |
Zoya Odette |
Odette is a "full-coverage, sultry orchid maroon cream". This was my favorite polish in this collection. It's just such a beautiful color. I wish you could have this on your nails to agree with me :P
I did 2 coats of Odette. No issues in the application department, smooth as always. The dry time was also great.
Zoya Normani |
Zoya Normani |
Zoya is a "full-coverage, sable mauve cream". I do not like this color lol. I usually am 100% on board "ugly" polishes. While it is a unique color... it reminds me of a cup of water you've washed brushes in :-\ I think if it was a taddddd bit more on the purple side it would be more my thannnggg.
I did 2 coats of Normani. It didn't give me any issues with application, it was smooth and Zoya-like :P The dry time was also great. No issues with this one!
Zoya Naturel Collection |
Overall, the 3 darker shades are my favorites in this collection. Only because of the fact the lighter 3 don't work well with my skin haha. My personal must haves are Brigitte and Odette.
Talk to you soon :]
I think they look really nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks! :]
DeleteI love the whole collection, but if I had to go with just one I'd pick Normani. So gorgeous!
