Barielle Sweet Treats Collection |
(Please excuse the lighting lines, I'm still trying to get this lightbox thang down) This evening I have the Sweet Treats set by Barielle to show you! I remember when this came out last year, I'm so excited I have my hands on this collection in my hands :D After the jump I have my review of these sweet colors!

Barielle Orange Parfait |
Orange Parfait is a salmon-y orange creme color. I liked this on my nails a lot more than I thought I would. I don't think I have anything exactly this color in my collection, so I welcomed it with happiness! I did 3 coats of Orange Parfait. It would of been good to go in 2 coats but there was some bald spots that needed evening out. The application was great. The dry time was okay, it could of been better though.

Barielle Blue Cotton |
Barielle Blue Cotton is a dusty teal blue creme with silver micro shimmer. I love this color so hard, now I'm wondering if I have a creme without the shimmer in my collex., because I need it. This had a great app and the dry time was a lot better than it's orange sisterfren. No issues or complaints from me here.
I compared it to Butter London Victoriana (below) because they both looked pretty darn similar:

(L->R) Barielle Blue Cotton, Butter London Victoriana, Barielle Blue Cotton |
As you can see the shimmer in Butter London is 100x more extreme than in Blue Cotton. The color is pretty identical. I preferred the Blue Cotton application to the Victoriana application though. I don't think you need both if you have one or the other.

Barielle Lilac Jelly Bean |
Barielle Lilac Jelly Bean is a dusty, lavender creme polish. I love dusty cremes, I think they're my #1 favorite (besides glitter... of course lol). I think this is a great shade for almost any occasion! My new found purple obsession has still yet to depart. I did 2 coats of Lilac Jelly Beam. It had a great application. The dry time was alright, it was better than Orange Parfait but not as great as Blue Cotton.

Barielle Banana Drop |
Barielle Banana Drop is the perfect banana yellow creme. It reminds me of a banana Wonka Laffy Taffy! I freakin' love pale yellow polishes, and I am always in search of the perfect one :P (China Glaze Lemon Fizz is still my #1. The perfect pale yellow polish is like finding the perfect white creme polish). I did 3 coats of Banana Drop. The application gave me no issues and evened out nicely after coat 3. This had a pretty good dry time for a pale yellow polish, which is hard to find.

Barielle Green Apple Chew |
Barielle Green Apple Chew is an awesome bright lime green creme polish. I have a handful of bright lime cremes in my collection, and I think this is by far my favorite. It freakin' radiates awesome. It's so bright, yet so creamy and perfect. I did 3 coats of Green Apple Chew. The dry time was alright, it was similar to Orange Parfait. The application was great without issues :]
I did a little sweet nail art with these colors!

I kinda regret not doing polka dots in the background or something but my sweets are still cute :P
Out of this collection my favorites are: Banana Drop, Lilac Jelly Bean and, of course, Green Apple Chew!
Have a SWEET day!
