MODEL CITY POLISH: April Showers & Awaken to Spring

Hi guys! Today I have 2 new polishes for springgggg by Model City Polish, one of my favorite polish blogs. She even sent me a mini glass file, so cute!These will be available 3/22, but I have a sneak peek for you TODAY ;] Check out these spring inspired polishes after the jump.

Model City Polish April Showers

April showers is a beautiful blue jelly with sky blue, purple, and mint green matte circles, yellow and light purple (or white? I can't tell :-\ ) micro matte glitter with awesome purple shimmer. Look at this in the bottle it's hard not to be drawn to that gorgeous shade of blue. Once I put it on I liked it even more! It's fun for spring without being too in your face.

I did 3 coats of April Showers. I didn't have any issues on application. The application was smooth and the circles came out nicely. The dry time was also without issues and was great!

Model City Polish Awaken to Spring over Zoya Julie

This polish is a lot of fun! Awaken to Spring is a clear (the glass fleck shimmer is from Zoya Julie) glitter topper with pink circles, copper, brown, aqua and pink hexes of different sizes. For some reason I wanted to layer this over a dark purple, but that's not very spring LOL. I like this mix of glitter. I like when I get a polish with a pretty mix of glitter I never thought would look nice together.

I did 2 coats of Awaken to Spring over Zoya Julie. Application was great, flawless and was smooth to apply even with all the glitter. Dry time gave me no issues either.
