The Hungry Asian Starstruck, Carpe Dayum, Lavender Cream,
Peachy Keen, Smooth Criminail and White Gardenia Cuticle Oil |
I figured since today IS the first day of spring, The Hungry Asian's spring collection would be perfect to review! The collection consists of 3 pastel creme polishes and 2 glitter top coats. I also have review of cuticle oil that she is giving them away with purchases :] Check them all out after the jump!

Starstruck contains "
short holographic bar glitter, and pink dots in a clear base". This is one of my favorites, it simple but still sparkly and fun. I really like the bar glitter! Once I layered it over the mint color it almost reminded me of Easter eggs and Easter grass :P
I did 2 coats of Starstruck over China Glaze For Audrey. It didn't give me any issues with application. I did do a few coats to spread out the dots, but no need for fishing! No dry time issues either.

Carpe Dayum (Bahaha best name ever!) is a clear polish with "
holographic and matte pink shreds with blue iridescent glitters". MMMmmmMmmMmmm iridescent glitters! Look at 'em sparkle! I couldn't think of a color to layer it over so I settled for a darker pink. Which worked out well because it allowed the iridescence to pop. I'm not a shards fan, so this isn't my faveeeee.
I did 2 coats of Carpe Dayum over Square Hue Wartime Romance. No issues upon application. The shards came out nicely and were flat on the nail. No issues with dry time either.

This reminds me of a jellybean! Lavender Cream is a "
lavender creme with satin mint, pink, dark purple, and green hex glitters". I really like the darker purple glitters! they stand out nicely from the other pastel colors.
I did 3 coats of Lavender Cream. I would allow it to dry between coats, or layer over a similar color. No issues with application or dry time otherwise :]

Peachy Keen is a "
peach creme packed with lots of bright glitter - large matte banana yellow hex, dark pink matte bars, purple holographic and matte hexes and dark pink and green hexes". There's also some large mint dots which are awesome against the peach base. I'm not sure if I like this shade of peach on me or not, what do you think?
I did 3 coats of Peachy Keen. Application was smooth. It was easy to get a good mix of glitter out. Again I'd allow dry time between coats. Otherwise, no issues.

This is another one of my favorites! Smooth Criminail is a "
shimmery pastel blue and medium purple, orange, blue, pink and teal hex glitter". This is a super spring, colorful and airy, polish. It's such a fun mix of color, almost makes me think of funfetti cake :P
I did 3 coats of Smooth Criminail. Application was smooth and without any issues. The dry time was better in this polish than the other 2 cremes when layered. No complaints or issues.

The Hungry Asian White Gardenia Cuticle Oil |
Last but not least is the White Gardenia Cuticle Oil. (Excuse the stains and the nail rescue patch hahaha) This oil is made up of sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, grape seed oil and fragrance. Haven't met an indie cuticle oil I haven't liked and I can add this one to the list! It's very nice and fast absorbing. The scent is light and sweet. I always love her little heart bottles so the brush made application easy. Currently she isn't selling the oil, BUT it is free with a purchase of $20+.
MY must haves are Starstuck and Smooth Criminail. Any you're beginning to neeeeed?
Happy Spring!
