ZOYA: Summer 2014 Tickled Collection [Rocha, Kirtridge, Ling, Wendy, Rooney, & Tilda]

Zoya Tickled Collection
Rocha, Kirtridge, Ling, Wendy, Rooney, and Tilda

Hope everyone's havin a great week so far! I just got back into town yesterday and I feel like a freakin' zombie! Nonetheless, today I'm swatching and reviewing the Summer Zoya Tickled Collection! This is a collection filled with summer time creme colors. Zoya cremes are my favorite so I was ultra excited about these colors! Check these 6 polishes after the jump :]

Zoya Rocha

Zoya Rocha

Zoya Rocha is a "classic folly red cream with warm undertones that enhace a summer glow". I believe there's a touch of orange as well, it's not a true red. This polish is going to be worn a LOT this summer, this color is so freakin' pretty and perfect with a tan!

I did 3 coats of Rocha, mostly due to a little balding down the center of my nail. Like other Zoya cremes I had no issues - application and dry time were without issues.

Zoya Kitridge

(L->R) Zoya Sweet VS Zoya Kitridge VS Zoya Shelby

Zoya Kitridge is a "classic summer bubblegum pink cream. This universally flattering (evenly balanced between cool & warm) has enough white to make it pop against a tan". Zoya also warns "due to the florescent pigment used, actual shade and photographic reproduction may differ". This pink is BRIGHT. It pops and glows awesomely. To get a better idea of the color and glow I put it next to Zoya Sweet and Shelby.

When I was in middle school there used to be these creamy opaque Rose Art paint pen marker things, I used the neon pink on my toes all the time LOL. (Not sure how great of an idea that was hahahahahha If I get toe cancer, we know why) But, this is THE PERFECT polish to match that marker! THE SEARCH IS OVER!

I did 3 coats of Kitridge. Again, it was due to balding down the center of my nail, yay for crazy curvature! lol The application was smooth, easy to work with and the dry time was great.

Zoya Ling

Ling is a "vibrant royal blue cream". I really like this shade of blue. I think royal blues are the perfect balance of a dark blue and light blue polish (duh, Lacey?). Not to mention they look good next to every skin color!

I did 2 coats of Ling. Back to 2 coats like I'm used to with Zoya cremes! I didn't have any application issues, it was smooth and easy to work with. Dry time was also great :]

Zoya Wendy

Zoya Wendy
(L->R) Zoya Wendy VS Zoya Mickey

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is reminded of watermelon! Wendy is a "juicy summer melon, deep enough to flatter a tan but bright enough to stand out". Zoya warns that this polish also has florescent pigment that affects color accuracy, which is why I put it next to Zoya Mickey for comparison. They looked a lot more similar in the bottle LOL but I think Wendy is a little more coraly.  Not my favorite pink in this collection but it's a nice bright shade.

I did 2 coats of Wendy.  Again, back to 2 coat cremes I'm used to without any application issues or dry time problems.

Zoya Rooney

(L->R) Zoya Rooney VS Zoya Lara

This polish name makes me LOL. Rooney is my childhood nickname my parents gave me... Lace-a-Roo, Lace-a-Rooney, Rooney. IDK who in my life knows that, but now the world does LOL! I totally sent a label picture to my mom :P Anyways, Zoya Rooney "mid-range magenta pink cream with balanced undertones to flatter most skin tones". This also has a florescent pigment color accuracy warning. I stuck it next to Zoya Lara for comparison, again they look similar in the bottle. For some reason I gravitate toward these kind of pinks, not sure why! The first Zoya I ever bought was a magenta pink lmao. They do look nice with tans though!

I did 2 coats of Rooney. I didn't have any issues with application. It was smooth and opaque. Dry time was great without problems as well!

Zoya Tilda

Zoya Tilda

Last but not least is Tilda, a "warm mantis green cream that is a great alternative to a summer lime". (Again, another color with a color accuracy warning due to florescent pigment) This is a unique green. I have lime and chartreuse greens that are similar but no dupes.  Surprisingly I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this green haha. I'll probably use it in conjunction with other colors, not alone.

I did 2 coats of Tilda. Dry time and application were without issues and had a great formula.

For my Oklahoma trip I used Zoya Rocha for a negative space half moon mani. I freakin' loved it so much. I had a few nail breaks, but besides that for 6 days I have SUPER minimum tip wear :D
