So when the OPI Neons came out I was like, "Ummmmm yes please". Then, suddenly these Color Club neons from the Poptastic Collection showed up in my mailbox. Pft forge the OPI neons, these are ON POINT!
Especially because there is no need for a white base coat with these neons. Hell. Yes. Let me share these awesome polishes with you!

Kapow is a bright, hot, neon magenta with subtle contrasting blue shimmer. This is bright and awesome. It also makes me look super tan hahahah :P
I did 2 coats of Kapow. It was easy to work with, smooth application. Also had a great dry time!

Peace, Love and Polish is a neon pink coral with strong, awesome, gold shimmer throughout. This one GLOWWWSS like nobody's business. I have this on my toes right now and I love it.
I did 2 coats of Peace, Love and Polish. Application was without any issues and dry time was great.

Foxy Mama is a neon orange with golden orange shimmer throughout. Super awesome, shimmery neon traffic cone orange!
Zoya Paz is my favorite neon orange polish, looks like it may have some competition! Especially since this was easier to build up.
I did 2 coats of Foxy Mama. Application and dry time gave me no issues :]

This was the one I was most excited for. The neon yellow polishes I do own need a pretty opaque white base to make it look nice. Not So Mellow Yellow is a highlighter, neon yellow polish with subtle shimmer.
I did 3 coats of Not So Mellow Yellow. I could of got away with 2 coats but I needed 3 to even it out. No complaints here because 3 coats to me is better than using a white base! Haha No issues at all with application or dry time.

This might be my favorite, even though I kind of wish it was more of a bright cobalt color haha. This seems to be the only polish that isn't neon. Anyways, Bell Bottom Blue is a medium blue with bright purple shimmer. The shimmer is my favorite part, fosho. Great color!
I did 2 coats of Bell Bottom Blue with an additional 3rd coat on the tips of my nails to kill visible nail line. Application was great and smooth. Dry time gave me no issues.

Last but not least is the neon, fuchsia, purple with pretty shimmer is Right On. I really like this neon, I think I'll wear it next on my toes actually :P I don't feel like it is as bright of a neon as the others but it's still pretty bright haha did that make sense?
I did 2 coats of Right On. Application was easy to work with and gave me no issues. Dry time was also great.
Ok - top 3 polishes would beeeee: Bell Bottom Babe, Peace Love and Polish, Foxy Mama. Great shades for summer!

ReplyDeleteOkay, that's torn it - I think I'll go in search of this after work at Bed Bath & Beyond or Meijer, conveniently located near each other not far from the office. I just HAVE to have Bell Bottom Babe, I'm through resisting!
