COLOR CLUB: Mad Batter & Soft Baked

Color Club (L->R) Mad Batter and Soft Baked

More Color Club! YAYYYY! Today I have 2 polishes from their Limited Edition Cookies & Cream Collection. Not to sound too ungrateful, but I wish I had more different colors to show you haha. The 2 colors they sent me, Mad Batter and Soft Baked, are VERRRRRRRRRRRYYY similar to the point that you don't need both. But I guess it's good I'm swatchy swatching them so you don't buy both? Check 'em out after the jump!

I know, I know - those macros look QUITE identical lmao :[

First off can we just take a moment to reflect on how awesome the name of this polish is? Bahah makes me laugh! I like picture some cray cray baker person laughing and stirring up some cake batter. Okay - back to the important stuff you came here for. Mad Batter is a creamy white base with 2 sizes of matte black hex. I have a few indie polishes that look identical to this polish, but I liked the application of this one more.

I did 2 coats of Mad Batter. Application was super smooth and easy to work with. Dry time was great for a white based polish, no need to wait much between coats :]

PS: This makes me want cookies and cream ice cream nao.

Color Club Soft Baked looks a lot like Mad Batter, huh?  The base color is only slightly more brown than Mad Batter. Soft Baked is a creamy, slightly nude base with 2 sizes of matte black hex. I actually prefer the look of this polish over it's white based sisterfren.  I think this has a softer look to it.

I did 2 coats of Soft Baked. Application and dry time were identical to Mad Batter. Application was smooth and gave me no issues. Dry time was also awesome, no complaints.

Here's a quick comparison of the two! Just depends what base color you prefer. IMHO you don't need both, but I know how collectors think ;] especially when it comes to LE polishes!
