Good afternoon, people! Today I have the 2nd installment of my Sally Hansen Color Foil review! If you missed Part I, naturally, you can find it here. :] This half of the review features the greens, blues, purples! (Well one green, one blue LOL) Check it out after the jump.

Sally Hansen Color Foil Minted Metal

Minted Metal is the green foil in this collection, I was kinda disappointed that it didn't look more like the bottle, to be honest. It looks almost blue in person. I did 2 coats of Minted Metal. Application and dry time were without an issues.

Sally Hansen Color Foil Cobalt Chrome

Colbalt Chrome is a sky blue foil polish. I think this is my top favorite, but that shouldn't shock anyone! It reminds me of Blue Rhapsody by Essie. I'm sure this one is more foil-y, so stay tuned for a comparison post. This was 2 coats of Cobalt Chrome - no issues to report!

Sally Hansen Color Foil Purple Alloy

This is my 2nd favorite in the entire collection. Purple Alloy is a medium purple foil polish. It's just such a gorgeous color and finish! I did 2 coats of Purple Alloy. Again, no issues with application or dry time.

Sally Hansen Color Foil Leaden Lilac

This one seemed like the most unique shade to me. Leaden Lilac is a purple, blueish, foil polish. I can't decide if I love or hate this yet, I think I was secretly wishing it leaned a little bit more purple. Fun color nonetheless. I did 2 coats of Leaden Lilac. No issues with application and dry time was great.

Sally Hansen Color Foil Sterling Silver

This is probably the closest we'll ever get in a polish to those perfect chrome foil silver nails floating around on Pinterest claiming to be Essie There's No Place Like Chrome. Minx nail wraps, my friends. LOL does that pin bug the crap out of anyone else but me? I digress - Sterling Silver is a bright, silver foil polish. I think this is a staple in any collection and while it's not my favorite - I love it. I did ONE FREAKIN' coat of Sterling Silver. Great dry time and application. :]

This part was stolen from my Part I review - they all worked the same as these polishes, so no sense in rewording it!

I know a lot of people were excited to use these foil polishes to stamp with. These types of polishes are always great to stamp with because they show up so nicely! I used a stamp over black, with each Color Foil polish in this post, to give you an idea how well they stamp. They look pretty good, huh?! I recommend working FAST. These polishes already dry quickly, and when they're scraped into a thin layer they dry even faster. So keep that in mind! Besides that, I think they're fun for stamping! There was also no smearing when I added Seche Vite over the stamping job.

I didn't go into too much detail about the application or dry time of these polishes, mostly because they are all the same. I'll address that here. Application was smooth, easy to work with and quite opaque in a single coat. Upon application you will see brush strokes but they seem to smooth out as the polish dries (WHEW!). There are some tiny bald spots which make a 2nd coat necessary. Dry time was quick! I always love foil polishes because of how quick they dry hahah. But as I addressed above, that makes stamping difficult - so move fast! (You can see in the blue on my index finger, I didn't work fast enough and I got some bald spots)

I would shake these polishes up pretty darn well before you use them. (I'm sure someone will come after me for this but...) I mean SHAKE them, I tried rolling them in my hand and it was a no go. I had these sitting on my desk for about 3 weeks. When I went to apply these polishes without shaking/when I rolled them in my hands, the foil base and the color separated when you applied it on the nail... meaning you'd have to spread the crap out of them on your nail (making the polish thick and difficult to work with) or your polish won't be too colorful LOL. Take my advice or not, but that's just my 2 cents!

I realize, yes I need/these need a ridge filling base coat. I don't have one - so I probably need to get one. Well I probably won't because it doesn't bother me that much hahah.

I was at my Target a few days ago and I saw ALL their Sally Hansen Color Foils on clearance for about $4.50/each. Hopefully you can score that deal, paying $8 a Sally Hansen polish kinda sucks haha (But this collection is worth the extra dough!) Again you can find Part I of this collection - here!
