WET N WILD: Wild Shine Limited Edition 2014 Summer Festival Collection [Spitfire, Ferris-Wheel Romance, Gyp-Sea Green, & Chambray Showers]

Wet n Wild 2014 Limited Edition Summer Festival Wild Shine
(L->R) Spitfire, Ferris-Wheel Romance, Gyp-Sea Green, and Chambray Showers

Today I have a few more limited edition Wet n Wild polishes to show you. These are from the Wild Shine line. I don't generally like the Wild Shine line, but after last summer's LE's I decided to pick these up while I was at Walgreen's yesterday. These are a mix of jellies and cremes! Check them out after the jump.

Wet n Wild Spitfire
Wet n Wild Spitfire

Spitfire is a red-orange jelly polish. It really reminds me of less bright version Zoya Rocha, but obviously more squishy because Rocha is a creme. I love this color! I loved it in the bottle and I love it on my nails :P I did 3 coats of Spitfire. It build up nicely and my visible nail line was very minimal. Application was smooth and didn't give me any issues. I waited between coats to ensure a quicker dry time.

Next is Ferris-Wheel Romance, a light pink creme. I'm not going to admit to liking this pink polish, but it's a very nice shade of pink! It's not bubblegummy like most of my light pink cremes. I did 2 coats of Ferris-Wheel Romance. Application was easy to work with. Dry time gave me no issues and was nice for a lighter pink.

Wet n Wild Gyp-Sea Green

Next up is a super jelly polish! Gyp-Sea Green is a medium aqua jelly. It really reminds me of Revlon Sheer Seafoam, which I reviewed horribly here in 2012. This is super sheer and I don't think I would wear this on it's own, however it is nice for sandwiching glitters and stamping.  I did 3 coats of Gyp-Sea Green, above. Application didn't give me any issues, it was smooth and not gummy. Dry time, as with any jelly, I recommend waiting between coats if you are layering it.

Wet n Wild Chambray Showers

Chambray Showers is a baby blue creme. The perfect shade of baby blue, actually. I can't decide if this or Spitfire is my favorite polish in the collection. I did 2 coats of Chambray Showers. Application was easy to work with and gave me no issues. No dry time problems either. No complaints :]

Cheeky Jumbo Plate C stamped between layers of Wet n Wild Gyp-Sea Green

I chose a design off of Cheeky Jumbo Plate C. I did 2 coats of Gyp-Sea Green, stamped with white polish, then applied 1 more coat of Gyp-Sea Green. I've never done a stamping jelly sammich, but it looks kinda cool!

Where to Find: Product Locator (I've only personally seen LEs at Walgreen's and CVS)
I grabbed these LEs at Walgreen's yesterday. If you see them, want them, I wouldn't second guess it! The collection wasn't there last week and when I stopped by Walgreen's there was only 1 set left!

Happpppyy Hump Day!

  1. I think I'm still on the fence about these polishes. I've walked past the full display at my local Walgreens 5 times in the last 2 weeks. This is the first swatches I've come across and they still don't jump out at me. Knowing me I'll change my mind and want them once they are all gone.

    1. I'm more pleased than I thought I'd be, actually! Might as well grab them, they make a good giveaway prize if you end up deciding later they're not your jam ;)
