COLOR CLUB: Holiday 2014 Made in New York Collection PART II [Bright Knights Big City, Million Dollar Listing, Concrete Jungle, & Lady Liberty]

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm back with the 2nd half of the Color Club Made in New York Collection. Last week I reviewed the opaque half of this collection. This post will cover the shimmer toppers! So check these 4 polishes out after the jump!

Color Club Apple of My Eye topped with
Color Club Bright Knights Big City

Bright Knights Big City is a top coat consisting of pink and gold shimmer. Look how awesome it looks in that macro! I did 2 coats of Bright Lights Big City over another polish from this collection, Apple of My Eye. I started off with 1 coat, but I think 2 really hits the spot. Not issues with application or dry time to report, captain!

Color Club Million Dollar Listing

Next is Million Dollar Listing, another top coat with gold and pearly shimmers. I feel like the shimmer in this topper is a tad bit more fine than the previously swatched topper. I did 2 coats of Million Dollar Listing over Color Club Off Duty, another from this collection. I thought it would be hard to notice the shimmer through the streaky metallic finish of Off Duty, but they actually play nicely together. Application was easy to work with and dry time was great.

Next is Concreate Jungle, a topper filled with magenta and blue shimmer with some gold flashes. From afar, it gives off a pearly finish. This was my least favorite of the toppers. I don't know why, it just isn't for me. I layered 2 coats of Concrete Jungle over Color Club Earthy Angel, from a past collection. No problems with dry time or application.

I saved my favorite for last :P Color Club Lady Liberty is a teal shimmer top coat. It's just awesome! I can't wait to try this over other different colors. It has such a beautiful finish and it's especially gorgeous when the light hits it. I did 2 coats of Lady Liberty over Night at The Met. Application was a little thicker than the others, but it wasn't enough to create an issue... just worth noting. No issues with dry time.

Those are your shimmer top coats from the Made in New York Collection for this year's holiday season. If I had to choose, my favorite is Lady Liberty and then there's a tie between Bright Knights Big City and Million Dollar Listing hahaha!
