Zoya Winter/Holiday 2014 Wishes Collection:
(L->R) Willa, Imogen, Prim, Nori, Haven, and Thea |
Hey guys! Today I have the newest collection for this upcoming winter season from Zoya! This collection is kinda cool, it's a mixture of 3 different kinds of finishes. However, I'm kinda sad about this collection... why? Check out after the jump to be sad with me lmfao!

Zoya Willa |
|
Zoya Willa |
HERE IT IS! FINALLY, ZOYA! Willa is a "
full-coverage, densely pigmented onyx black cream", which was originally released 'Black Swan' during Zang Toi's NYFW SS15 show. It's a pure black creme polish without any shimmer in it. It's about damn time hahaha. :P
I did 2 coats of Willa. It's what you would expect from a Zoya creme polish; amazing formula, opaque, and smooth. Dry time was on point. (BTW I just found out what "fleek" meant yesterday, I feel old. BTW Why is that a word HAHAHA)

Zoya Imogen |

Zoya Imogen |

Zoya Imogen |
Imogen is a "
black crystal Magical PixieDust with holographic hex glitter". Zoya, I love you, but would you please go back to your definition of PixieDust and reread it very carefully. This isn't a textured polish, ya'll. There is no texture particles in this polish, the only thing that is textured is the crazy amount of glitter that stands out through the sheer base haha. But NOT a PixieDust polish... #sadday. It's pretty, but these need a new name...
I did 3 coats of Imogen, and 1 coat of Imogen over Willa on my ring finger. Application was easy to work with, although there was a crapton of glitter it applied nicely. No issues with dry time.

Zoya Prim |
|
Zoya Prim |
|
Zoya Prim |
Dear Zoya, Prim. I'm sure other people think you're gorgeous but your streaks are killin' me! Prim is a "
velvet blue metallic with a full coverage". It's kind of a periwinkle color to me, don't ya think? It's a pretty color, I just don't like the finish.
I did 2 coats of Prim. It was a smooth application and it gave me no issues. No complaints about dry time here.
|
Zoya Nori |
|
Zoya Nori |
|
Zoya Nori |
Zoya Nori is "
sapphire blue Magical PixieDust with holographic hex glitter". This is my favorite "PixieDust" polish from this collection, it's just magical. But again, sadly, it's not freakin' textured - ZOYA!!! But, besides it not being textured I like the mix of glitter against the dark blue base.
I did 3 coats of Nori and 1 coat of Nori over Prim on my ring finger. Application was nice for the amount of glitter in this polish. No issues with dry time!
|
Zoya Haven |
|
Zoya Haven |
|
Zoya Haven |
Haven is a "
true holiday plum liquid metal with a thin vein of orchid to ensure brilliance". This is my favorite of the entire collection. The color is stunning on the nails and doesn't disappoint! I was super happy this wasn't streaky like Prim was.
I did 2 coats of Haven. It was a great smooth application and had great coverage. Dry time was great, too. I have no complaints about this polish!
|
Zoya Thea |
|
Zoya Thea |
|
Zoya Thea |
Thea is a "
deep amethyst Magical PixieDust with an orchid flash, packed full of party-ready holographic hex glitter". Again, this isn't a textured polish - just crazy amounts of glitter in a sheer dark purple base. You're slowly killing my PixieDust dreams, Zoya, we're goin' to have trust issues from here on out lmao. *sigh* at least it's pretty, eh?
I did 3 coats of Thea and 1 coat over Haven over Haven on my ring finger. No issues with application and built up nice and even like the others in this collection. No problems with dry time.
I think this is a fun collection, mixin' up the finishes! I'm super sad and disappointed with the the "PixieDust" polishes, like wtf Zoya. My must haves from the Wishes Collection: Haven and Willa. I want to add the glitters, but I'm just so traumatized from being deceived lmfao
