Hi guys! Today I have 2 of the 3 new polishes from Hare Polish's New Years collection - A Surreal New Year. These polishes are inspired by paintings by Salvador Dali. There's one more in the collection but I have the two purple-y shades to share with you today. If you're into that chrome flakie trend, you might like these :] Check 'em out after the jump!

Hare Polish Rosa Meditativa

Rosa Meditativa is a "mauve/rose jelly with ultra chrome flakies that reflect teal, green, blue and gold". So I honestly thought I didn't need any of these ultra chrome flakie top coat thingamabobbers everyone and their mom sells... after swatching this polish: I do need them. On everything in my life. The base color on it's own is gorgeous, but the flakies make it so so so much more gorgeous!

I did 3 coats of Rosa Meditativa. Application was smooth and easy to work with. It built up nicely and created a nice layered look with the flakies. No issues to report with dry time.

Hare Polish Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate a Second before Awakening on New Years. Holy cannoli long name LOL. This is similar to Rosa Meditativa; it is a "dark smoky purple jelly with beautiful ultra chrome flakies that reflect bronze, gold, green, blue". I didn't think I would like this base color but it is actually everything I needed in my life but didn't know I wanted LOL. So lush! And the bright flakies against that deep dark purple. Okay, Nikole - you win... again.

I did 4 coats of a Dream Caused by the Flight... I had some balding where my nails curve, but a 4th coat fixed it right up! Application was smooth and gave me no problems. Built up nicely with a nice amount of flakies per coat. No complaints!

These had LE gold labels VS the regular clear/white labels to celebrate the holiday season. The polishes aren't LE, just the shiny labels. :]
