ReplyDeleteHonestly, I've never really been big into V-day. I feel like *every* day should be a celebration of our love. I usually get a card and some chocolates from my husband, but I appreciate the gifts that are "just because" even more.

ReplyDeleteBest Valentine's Day gift? My mom sometimes buys me nail polish. (Appropriate, right?) I also did get a stuffed Basset Hound plush toy sitting at my desk at work a few years ago.
I'm not big into V-Day either so I'll say chocolates from my daughter!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Valentines day gift came from fiancé he made me flash cards with 100 reasons I love you, and a huge rose and calia lily bouquet, which lilies are my favorite flowers ever!
ReplyDeleteOnce I was in the hospital having surgery on Valentines Day, and my dad got me a diamond heart necklace to make me feel better. I still have that heart and love it to this day!

ReplyDeleteI used to date a guy who bought me a huge assortment of marzipan candies after I told him how much I liked them (and how hard they were to find in town). I always thought that was really sweet.

ReplyDeleteIn the fourth grade I received 5 different boxes of candy from 5 different boys on valentines day. Back then that was a big thing. Too bad I don't have 5 different men giving me gifts this valentines day.
