Forget Me Not Friday: SINFUL COLORS Haul - Pistache, Shamrockin', Beaches and Cream, & Let Me Go

Sinful Colors (L->R) Pistache, Shamrockin',
Beaches and Cream, and Let Me Go

Hi guys! I'm sure you've heard by now - Sinful Colors at Walgreens nationwide are once again only 99 cents! The bestest polish sale ever. I grabbed a handful of polishes the other day. Since the sale ends tomorrow, 2/28/15, I figured I'd swatch some of the colors I picked up so you can go grab them if somethin' tickles your fancy. Check out these 4 polishes after the jump!

Sinful Colors Pistache
Sinful Colors Pistache

Pistache (Originally released in 2013) is a bright pistachio green. I thought I had this already but I bought it anyways. Turns out, I didn't have it, so good thing I grabbed it! Love these shades of green and I can't get enough. They're perfectly pastel but perfectly bright at the same time.

I did 2 coats of Pistache. It had a great application and a great dry time. When Sinful Color's cremes are on point - they're on point and this one is great.

Shamrockin' (Originally released in 2014) is a clear bass filled with matte light green and white hex from small and micro glitter sizes, plus large white flowers. I guess there's 2 versions of Shamrockin', see here. While I prefer the darker version, I don't mind this lighter version either.

I did 1 coat of Shamrockin' over Pistache, from above. It wasn't as base-y as I thought it was going to be, so the hex and micro glitter covered nicely. I did have to fish for the flowers, which was expected. Although it was kind of a bummer they were all stuck at the bottom and didn't feel like moving.

Sinful Colors Beaches and Cream

Beaches and Cream (Originally released in 2014) is a vanilla pudding or peach yogurt colored (LMFAO) creme polish with super, crazy subtle pink shimmer. I want to say yellow-toned ivory... TBH I bought this beause of the name LOL! I think if the pink shimmer was more prominent would be 10x better. I'm on the fence about this polish, I stared at it a good while. I think I'll probably pair it with another color VS wear it alone.

I did 3 coats of Beaches and Cream. It was a little streaky between coats 1-2 but the 3rd evened it out.  Application was good. Dry time was just okay, nothing to write home (or on a blog) about.

Let Me Go (Permanent collection, released in 2010) is a sheer polish that shifts from pink to purple to green. I found this in the "opalescent shades" display, I totally didn't look at the name LOL it's part of the perm. collection. I would of passed, like I had passed in the last 3 years. But It looks so nice over Beaches and Cream so I guess she can stay :P I want to try it over a million different colors now. I have it over Color Club Sweet Getaway on my toes and it looks awesome!

I did 2 coats of Let Me Go over Beaches and Cream, from above. This polish is super sheer and probably benefits more from layering VS building up. Kinda wish I grabbed other colors from the display now LOL. Application was easy to apply, the formula is quite thin. The dry time was great, super quick and no issues.
