COLOR CLUB: Poptastic Pastel Neon Collection [Feathered Hair Out to There, Hot-Hot-Hot Pants, Disco's Not Dead, Under the Blacklight, Til the Record Stops, Meet Me at the Rink, & Diggin' the Dancing Queen],

Color Club Poptastic Pastel Neon Collection

Sooooooo - Today is St. Patty's Day... and I told my self I'd do a themed mani for that day... problemo is, I never know what day St. Patty's Day is actually on LOL So that never happened! BUT today I have the brand spankin' new Color Club Poptastic Pastel Neon Collection to share. While they're gorgeous and awesome, fair warning - they're not flattering to my current skin status. But whatever, I still can't wait to share them with you!

Color Club Feathered Hair Out to There
Color Club Feathered Hair Out to There

Feathered Hair Out to There is a bright, pastel light pink creme. I'm always so mesmerized by colors that are neon but pastel at the same time. These are the type of light pinks that I like. OMG I need to go to the beach because this would look amazing once I'm tan again hahaha

I did 4 coats of Feathered Hair Out to There. This was hard for me to even out. Four coats killed the the patchiness problem. It had an okay dry time, one I'd expect from a white based polish though.

Color Club Hot-Hot-Hot Pants
Color Club Hot-Hot-Hot Pants

I think this is my favorite color out of the collection. Hot-Hot-Hot Pants is a neon, pastel peach creme. IT'S SO PRETTY. WHY IS IT SO PRETTY. IDK WHY BUT I'M SO HAPPY IT'S PRETTY.  I have a feeling I'll be wearing this a lot this summer. It's perfect.

I did 3 coats of Hot-Hot-Hot Pants. It was pretty opaque and was easier to even out than the light pink. No issues with application. Dry time was again, just okay.

Color Club Disco's Not Dead
Color Club Disco's Not Dead

Color Club Disco's Not Dead (but, can it be tho?) is a bright, buttery yellow creme polish. Probably the 2nd least attractive color on me in this collection. I like this color but I don't love it, but I'm happy it's there? LOL don't mind me... I don't even know what's going on with my feelings about this polish.

I did 3 coats of Disco's Not Dead. This had a nice, creamy and opaque formula. No issues with application, it was fine. Dry time was just okay...

Color Club Under the Blacklight
Color Club Under the Blacklight

Have you ever wanted to put a freakin' glowstick on your nails? Welp, here's your chance! This is a crazy bright, neon, highlighter/glowstick, yellow... BUT ALSO A CREME AND PASTEL. Oh, my, my, my. Yes, it looks awful on me - lobster hands to the x-treme, but it's still nothing short of amazing. Bright, creme, neon. UGHHHH YAAAASSSSSS!

I did 3 coats of Under the Blacklight. This creme had a nice application, easy to work with and no issues. Dry time was alright, still nothing impressive or anything that makes me happy haha.

Color Club 'Til the Record Stops
Color Club 'Til the Record Stops
Color Club Sweet Mint (middle finger - left) VS
Color Club Til the Record Stops (ring finger - right)

Til the Record Stops is a pastel lime green creme nail polish. Love this color so hard. I'm really enjoying these types of colors this spring. The more green cremes, the better.

I compared it above, in the last picture to Color Club Sweet Mint (ring - on the right - finger) from the Shift into Neutral Collection. As you can see, they're both pretty similar, except Til the Record Stops is just a smidge brighter than Sweet Mint. It also doesn't have the SUPERDUPERsubtle shimmer Sweet Mint has. TBH, I wouldn't buy both...

I did 3 coats of Til the Record Stops. No issues with application, it was smooth and easy to even out. Dry time was okay. I really wish these dried quicker, but they're worth the patience.

Color Club Meet Me at the Rink
Color Club Meet Me at the Rink

Meet Me at the Rink is an awesome pastel, but bright, sky blue creme. It's very pretty, light and airy but still awesomely bright! This is my 3rd favorite from this collection. I dig it.

I did 3 coats of Meet Me at the Rink. I enjoyed the application of this blue. I never have good luck with super light blue polishes? It was opaque, smooth and evened out nicely. Okay dry time, just okay.

Color Club Diggin' the Dancing Queen
Color Club Diggin' the Dancing Queen

Color Club Diggin' the Dancing Queen is a bright, pastel light purple creme. It reminds me of freakin' gel pens that I wrote with on black paper when I was younger. It's literally perfect and doesn't make my hands look like hot sauce.

I did 3 coats of Diggin' the Dancing Queen. I feel like this one was the best formula, application and dry time out of the collection. It was flawless. It woke up like this. Great even application with a smooth formula. Better dry time than the rest of them. #happycamper

Color Club Poptastic Pastel Neon striped nail art

I felt like doing stripes with all these colors. Then I was like "I used to own something with pastel stripes that had silver stripes in between". It was some clothing item from my (too long) time at Aeropostale. I don't know if I even own it, I just remember what it looked like. Why am I explaining this so much? Stopping now. So I just used a striping brush and then added silver stripes using Zoya Trixie :)
