Model City Polish The Spring Bouquet Collection (L->R) Azalea, Fritillaria, Hellebore, Primrose, Himalayan Poppy, and Pennyroyal |
Heyyyyyy! Today I have 6 new polishes from Model City Polish's newest Spring collection - The Spring Bouquet Collection. These polishes are pastel blends with "soft flakie shimmer and a splash of holographic sparkle". These colors are so pretty and the flakies and sparkle are awesome. You have to check them out!
Excuse my poor pinky. Note to self: Do not use cuticle remover on wet cuticles... = chemical burns. *sigh*

Azalea is a medium pink polish with a crelly finish. You can really see in the macro the crazy awesomeness going on in these polishes - some pink flakies, and holo shimmer. It's a nice twist on a typical springtime color.
I did 3 coats of Azalea. The application was smooth, easy to work with and opaque. No issues at all. I felt I didn't wait enough time between coats and it took a smidge longer to dry than the others? Not sure why or if I'm just crazy. It wasn't horrible or anything though, just noting.

I'm glad I'm not making a video (although this will be in a faves video soon... lmao) because I'll hurt myself pronouncing Fritillaria. LOL. This is my absolute favorite of this collection. I wore it to my job interview today. This is a beautiful, soft orange coral crelly with bright orange/gold flakies and some holo shimmer. It's a gorgeous color, I need a full size of this!
I did 3 coats of Fritillaria, although when I applied to to wear for the rest of the week I only needed 2 coats. Again, no issues with application. It was smooth and had a nice opaque formula. No dry time issues.

Next up is Model City Polish Primrose. This is a very light yellow crelly with yellow flakies and holographic shimmer. Sometimes I'm lucky and I find a nice light yellow that doesn't turn me into a lobster, and this is one of them.
I did 4 coats of Primrose. It was the sheerest of them all, but built up nicely with no issues. Application and dry time were both without problems.
Model City Polish Hellebore |

Model City Polish Hellebore (I don't know why this is so neon-looking here; it's not this bright haha) |
Next up is Hellebore, a bright, but still light, refreshing green crelly with green/gold flakies and sparkling holo shimmer. I'll never be tired of this shade of green, and add sparkles? OKAY!
I did 3 coats of Hellebore. Like the others, it had a great application that was easy to work with and build up. No issues with dry time.

Himalayan Poppy is a holo sparklin', blue flakies in a sky blue crelly base. This is a nice shade of blue, and the blue flakies compliment it nicely.
I did 3 coats of Himalayan Poppy. Another crelly with a nice formula, easy to build up and no issues upon application. Dry time was also great and had no problems.

Pennyroyal is a soft, light purple crelly. Like the others, this one has matching purple/blue flakies and twinkling fine holographic shimmer. This is my second favorite polish in this collection. I love the light and airy look of this shade of purple.
I did 3 coats of Pennyroyal. I didn't have any issues with the application of this polish. It was smooth and easy to work with, no problems building it up either. No problems upon dry time. (I read about a blogger having pink staining when removing this polish. Just a note, I didn't have any staining issues and I didn't use a base coat.)
These polishes from The Spring Bouquet Collection are now for sale in Model City Polish's shop :] And starting today until 3/19 use the code LACE to take 10% off your order with Model City Polish. My 2 favorites are Fritillaria and Pennyroyal :] What color do you like the most?
Have a nice evening <3
