LILLIAN EVE: Summer 2015 Polish & Wet Look Top Coat Review

Lillian Eve Summer 2015 polishes and Wet Look Top Coat

HIIIIIIIIIIII :D Today I have some polishes to share with you from a new-to-me brand called Lillian Eve. I was contacted by Lillian Eve to review some polishes and share their Kickstarter link with y'all! They're looking to back their newest Summer Collection and a new studio space. These polishes are vegan, cruelty free, 5-free, and made in the USA. Let me show you 2 polishes from their Summer 2015 Collection and how to get your hands on them after the jump :]

These polishes do not currently have names.

Lillan Eve - no name pink creme polish
Lillan Eve - no name pink creme polish

This pink is a bright, Barbie pink creme polish. This is a very popular color for spring and summer manis and it's a fun, bright color to welcome warmer weather. I love this shade of pink (only) because it looks amazing when you're tan :P

I did 3 coats of the pink creme polish. It dries to a slightly matte finish. Here, I added a coat of Lillian Eve Wet Look Top Coat (will review at the end) to add some shine. No issues upon application, it was nice and smooth. Dry time was nice.

Lillian Eve - no name blue creme polish
Lillian Eve - no name blue creme polish

This blue polish from Lillian Eve is a medium, periwinkle blue creme. I'm really loving this color, so much so that I put it on all 10 nails haha. Such a pretty shade of blue!

I did 3 coats of the blue creme polish. The application/formula was identical to the pink polish. No application issues, easy to work with. The finish was again, slightly matte, so I added a coat of their top coat to finish it off. No dry time issues.

Lillian Eve Wet Look Top Coat

As I said above, I used the Wet Look Top Coat on my swatches. This is a thinner top coat, nothing sticky, that glides on smooth and finishes shiny. It's not a quick dry top coat - it's no Seche Vite. As I said above, I applied the blue polish to wear. I top coated my mani with Wet Look TC, so we'll see how the wear is. I felt like it took awhile to dry. I applied it around 8:30PM and it felt dry soon after. I was very careful through the rest of the night. I went to bed around 12:00AM and somehow still woke up with sheet marks on 3 of my nails *shrugs*

Nail art using Lillian Eve polishes

For the look above, I used the pink and blue polishes to create a dry marble, applied Dream Car by The Hungry Asian over the blue, and then dotted some blue dots on the pink. I tried to make my pointer look more pink than blue but I think I should of just made it match my ring finger :P
