DERMWORX: MoistureWORX Nail and Cuticle Fortifying Treatment Review

MoistureWORX Nail and Cuticle Fortifying Treatment by Dermworx

Hey there! Today I have a review of a a cuticle treatment/moisturizer from Dermworx. As someone who is pretty rough on their hands during the summer, I was thankful this product graced my doorstep! It's the perfect item to keep my cuticles looking good after the beach, pool, hiking, or working on my yard. Even while I'm being lazy at home, my cuticles are thankful for this product. :P Check out more info + my review after the jump!

First and foremost I want to say, YES I know this product is $18 and that isn't cheap.  I've been using this item 1-3x a day for the last 4 weeks and this tube is hardly half empty: A little goes a long way.
A horribly washed out back of the tube LOL

MoistureWORX Nail and Cuticle Fortifying Treatment

I love the little applicator thing-a-ma-bob. Keeps the tube mess free and makes the gel easy to apply to my cuticles. Quick and easy! It reminds me of a lip gloss tube?

Lacey's Cuticle Weapons of Choice

I've gone through MANY-a-cuticle product in my day, especially cuticle oils/balms/treatments. As someone with seriously dry and flaky skin, my cuticles are no exception. These are the products I'm currently using to keep my cuticles lookin' nice!

(Middle) I recently picked up the Revlon by Marchesa Cuticle Nipper. I really like this cuticle nipper, it gets the job done but isn't as harsh as my super sharp, salon style cuticle nipper. Plus the design is SWEET!

(Right) I've been using this cuticle pusher/scraper tool for years. I picked it up on eBay for pretty cheap, but I'm sure you can find it at many places. The pusher is great and the perfect size. The scraper is great for helping me keep my nails, under my nails, and the skin around my nails clean. I  also use it gently "exfoliate" around my cuticles with this and some moisturizer.

Here are my nails today; clean and moisturized cuticles, my slightly stained tips and all!  Told ya'll my nails were natural LOL ;]

This is what my cuticles looked like 3 weeks ago. If you scroll through my IG feed, you can see the progression. At the time, I had pretty much given up using cuticle products and was just using my Aquaphor haha.

I clean my cuticle area and the sides of my nails about every week, week and a half. The MoistureWORX treatment has kept my cleaned up cuticles and skin looking nicer from week-to-week than any other cuticle moisturizer has. While I enjoyed many cuticle products in the past, I have liked this one the most so far.

The "gel"-like formula is kind of like a thicker version of Aquaphor/Vaseline, if you're familiar with those ointments. However, it doesn't sit on top of your skin as long as those skin products do. The MoistureWORX product a little on the greasy side at first, but it eventually sinks into your skin pretty well while keeping it moisturized.

I really like the formula/consistency. It works out really well for my super dry/eczema skin and the effects last pretty much all day if I use it 2x. I can see this product being AWESOME for the winter months. Whatever magic in this cuticle treatment is working out for me great! I already preferred balm type products to cuticle oils, but if you don't like thicker cuticle products - I'd skip this one.

I know the price point is a little high, TBH I was scared about it LOL, but you only use a little bit since it's quite thick. I can see this tube lasting me 2-3 months.

What made me want to try this product is that it is by a professional skin care brand, (no offense) not a company/brand also specializing in nail related items or smell-good bath and body items. I'm very happy with how this product performed and I do plan on purchasing a tube after I use up every last drop of this one! :]

Hope you enjoyed this review. What do you think about MoistureWORX?
