Forget Me Not Friday - JULEP: Becca & Janet + BORN PRETTY STORE

Julep Janet (left) and Becca (right)

Hi guys! Today's Forget Me Not Friday features 2 Julep polishes from this year, plus a Born Pretty Store plate that I've never used because I lost it. So check out these 2 colors and check out my stamping mani after the jump :]

Julep Becca
Julep Becca

Becca (May 2015 Boho Glam) is a blue-green polish with some pretty shimmer. SUCH a lovely color! I remember accepting this box specifically because of this color haha. I can't complain about this color, so I'm going to stop stating the same thing over and over again.

I did 2 coats of Becca. The application was smooth and easy to work with. I did have to be aware of my brush strokes because they are somewhat apparent if you make shorter strokes. Dry time was great, can't complain about that.

Zoya Janet

Janet (March 2015 It Girl) is a very soft, pale peach creme polish with Julep's "soft focus finish" (the same finish as Zoya Satin polishes). Great palate cleanser! I still don't know how I feel about this semi-matte finish that was a thing... I mean, I'm going to top coat the ish out of it anyways LOL. This would look great against a nice summer tan!

I did 2 coats of Janet. The application was okay. It was mostly smooth and easy to work with but it did start to get a little sticky after awhile. Dry time was okay, nothing to write home about. The Zoya Satins didn't have an exceptional dry time either so I wasn't expecting much.

Julep Janet stamped with Born Pretty Store 01 and Julep Becca

Awhile ago, last year sometime, I won a bunch of "new" stamping plates from Born Pretty Store. I randomly found the stack of them last week!Sadly most of the "full" designs will only cover half my nail LOL but thankfully, there was this HUGE paisley stamp in plate #01 (Which is now called 10?). I LOVE PAISLEY PRINT. I used Becca (which I knew wouldn't be totally opaque) to create a soft paisley print over Janet. I think it looks quite nice :]
