Born Pretty Store Xmas Nail Art Water Decals and Chevron Nail Striping Tape |
Christmas is near, winter is upon us - festive nails are in order (whether I like it or not LOL). Today, I did a mani using 2 nail art items from Born Pretty Store. Check out how festive my phalanges are after the jump :P
Born Pretty Store Xmas Nail Art Water Decals $1.65 |
Born Pretty Store Chevron Nail Striping Tape $1.47 |
For this mani I used the Xmas Nail Art Water Decals and Chevron Nail Striping Tape. DID YOU GUYS KNOW THEY MADE CHEVRON STRIPING TAPE?! I didn't. Mind blown. THE POSSIBILITIES! The best part is that these items are both under $2.00 :]

For this mani I painted the majority of my nails with a champagne gold polish, SquareHue Oympiad, and an accent nail with SquareHue Bird Fling (both from this month's SquareHue box!).
Seamlessly layering Born Pretty Store water slide decals are my favorite. You can pick and choose what designs you want where and they look like you painted or stamped them on. So, of course... I combined a bunch of the decals. Sadly my top coat was thicker than I thought and one of my stars got smeary :[
I used the red chevron striping tape down the sides of my gold nails. It's a fun touch and a nice change of pace from the normal striping tape! I'll have another review of the striping tape next week!
