Zoya Fall 2016 Urban Grunge Collection - Metallic Holos
(L->R) Ash, Britta, Finley, Meirda, Troy, and Alicia |
Good afternoon, my lovelies! Today I have the rest of Zoya's Fall 2016 collection to share with you. This half of the collection features the glittery and shimmery polishes. I'm really impressed with the finishes in this collection and I think you will enjoy them too! Check them out after the jump :]

Zoya Ash |
Ash is a "
vibrant cherry with a red and gold metallic shimmer". I look forward to this ruby shimmery polish every fall. Although it is pretty, it's not my favorite ever or anything haha just my go-to when I have a color choosing brain lapse. It's just one of those colors that looks awesome on everyone for every occasion.
I did 2 coats of Ash. Literally ZERO issues with this polish. It was nice and pigmented with no drying problems. Dream polish application, ya'll.

Zoya Britta |

Britta is a "
berry metallic with a red and purple fuchsia flash". This is like the more unique version of Ash, sorry Ash LOL! The rich purple color is more unique and the shimmer (see macro) is a bit more complex in colors and depth. Big fan. Also, Britta Perry from Community.
I did 2 coats of Britta. Very similar in formula as Ash. Very easy to apply, nicely opaque, and quick dry time. Not a damn thing to complain about.

Zoya Finley |

Zoya Finley |
Finley is a "
deep royal purple scattered holo" jelly polish, a chunky scattered holo. I'm DYING over this polish. I wore it for a week and I was in love. It's so nicely squishy with the perfect amount and size of holographic shimmer/glitter. The shade of purple is freakin' perfect, not too dark and just bright enough.
I did 3 coats of Finley. Slightly on the sheer side but it was easy to build up. It was easy to apply and each coat was packed with glitter. I waited a about a minute between each coat just to be safe :]

Zoya Meirda |
|
Zoya Meirda |
|
Zoya Meirda |
Meirda is a "
brilliant lush evergreen scattered holo" with a jelly formula. This is the green version of Britta. Green polishes are my jam, but in real life this made me have a bad case of The Lobster Hands. :( However, I still don't hate it because of the glitter and squishiness and I will wear it.
I did 2 coats of Meirda. This was slightly more opaque than the purple, but I think it's because the color is darker. Again, tons of glitter per coat and a nice application. No dry time issues but I did wait a bit just to be safe/I was distracted.

Zoya Troy |
|
Zoya Troy |
|
Zoya Troy |
Troy is a "
liquid pewter with a foil finish and an edgy touch of black and gold". As I was swatching this I was like "I hope my mom sees my blog post" because I know she loves gunmetal polishes and I feel like if you're a gunmetal fan, you'll love Troy. But this is more than a metallic polish, it has a little somethin'-somethin'. Look at those subtle gold iridescent flakies! Subtle but just enough to make this polish more awesome.
I did 2 coats of Troy. No issues with application, it was nice and smooth and easy to apply. Dry time was fantastic and was without issues.

Last but not least is the most anticipated polish of this collection. Once upon a time, someone post pictures of Alicia from some Beauty-something-or-other Convention. I saw the bottle and "holo" and I was like ooohhh, then I saw it in real life and I was like "YAS GAWD". Alicia is a silver "
linear holo with a touch of gold". I personally don't classify this polish as a "linear" holo, but it's still pretty darn holographic! The gold shimmer makes this polish super unique and less (if you can even can it...) boring than a simple silver holo.
I did 3 coats of Alicia. This was the sheerest polish of the bunch, as silver holos seem to be. I probably could of done a 4 coat, but 3 coats suffices. No complaints on application and every coat had a great amount of glitter. Dry time was great as well :]
And that's the sparkly half of Zoya's Fall 2016 Collection! I was really happy with these polishes. I enjoyed that while they are still sparkly and glittery they don't ALL have the same finish like most collection halves seem to have. My favorites from this collection: Finley, Britta, and Meirda. Alicia is a must have, just not my favorite because of the serious case of Lobster Hands silver polishes give me :-\
