Influenster Breezy VoxBox - Summer 2017 |
A few months ago the Influenster Breezy VoxBox graced my mailbox. Not my nails but I enjoy reviewing VoxBoxes because they are always filled with fun stuff to review! In this box we have items from Head & Shoulders, Sour Punch, ProFoot, Origins, and Nair. Check out my thoughts on these products after the jump!
Head & Shoulders Volume Boost Shampoo and Conditioner ($5.99 per 13.5oz bottle)
I received the Volume Boost set from Head & Shoulders. This shampoo and conditioner combo treats dandruff while adding volume and fullness to your hair. I've been using this set for the last month and I can't complain. I don't have dandruff but my scalp does get dry and I think this helped out a lot. I noticed increase in the volume of my hair but I don't think it lasted longer than my usual drugstore shampoo/conditioner. I really liked how this made my hair smell after washing!
ProFoot Heel Rescue Foot Cream ($6.50 for a 16oz jar)
I've been using this mostly every night before bed for the last 2 months. During the summer my heels and toes get really freakin' dry! I think this has helped out a lot at preventing the annual dry feet I get haha. I'm not sure if these results are specifically from this product or just from moisturizing in general. Either way, I'm really happy with the results. I really like the non-greasy formula because it doesn't get all over my sheets and stain them with oil.
Nair Wax Ready-Strips ($5.99-$7.49 for 40 strips and 40 wipes)
I usually use wax strips for my upper lip, because I'm not a fan of paying $15+ to have that done haha. Sadly, I don't think these were as effective as rub to warm strips. The hair grew back faster and I had to use my tweezers to clean up more than I usually do. I'm debating if I should purchase a box to try again.
The Origins A Perfect World line is formulated for age prevention and is best for dry, oily, and normal skin.
Origins A Perfect World SPF 40 Age-Defense Moisturizer with White Tea ($44.00 for 1.7oz)
The formula is made to strengthen the skin's barrier to defend against pollution, Infrared Rays, ozone, and other environmental aggressors that cause signs of aging. It also is meant to deliver hydration along with SPF for UV protection.
I like the overall idea of this moisturizer. I generally purchase very hydrating SPF daytime moisturizers so I was excited to try this one by Origins. I really enjoyed the fresh smell of this moisturizer. It was very smooth and easy to apply and wear under makeup. However, I don't think it was moisturizing enough for my skin because by the end of the day my face was pretty dry and a little flaky. :[
Origins A Perfect World Age-Defense Eye Cream with SPF 20 ($39.00 for 0.5oz)
Sour Punch Straws have been my favorite candy since, geeze, like 3rd grade or so! I was so happy to see this candy in my VoxBox.
Sour Punch Bites Ragin' Reds ($1.69+ per bag)
The Ragin' Reds (which are strawberry, watermelon, cherry, and raspberry flavored) are larger flat straws and are soft and chewy. The classic strawberry was my favorite but they were all good!
Sour Punch Straws Pineapple Mango Chili ($1.69+ per tray)
The Pineapple Mango Chili straws are a new flavor I've never seen. The tropical flavor was nice and different. The chili flavor isn't overwhelming or super spicy but there is definitely a little heat to these. It's an interesting flavor combo! Not my cup of tea but I enjoyed trying something new.
And that's everything in this season's VoxBox. Be sure to check out the websites for each brand above :] If you want to sign up to possibly be considered for your own VoxBox to review, feel free to sign up under my link, here.
Happy Summer!
