Zoya Fall 2017 Sophisticates Collection Top: Hadley, Tabitha, Gal - Bottom: Elaine, Mona, Yvonne, & Mona |
Yeah, yeah I suck. I said the other half a week later but that didn't happen LOL! Guess I'm technicaly not too late since fall just started *insert sassy hand emoji girl here*. Either way I'm still happy to share my favorite half of the Sophisticates Collection. If you wanna check out the darker shades, click on over to see them after the jump!
|
Zoya Hadley |
Hadley is a "smokey, midnight blue cream". It's like a navy and black polish mixed together. If you enjoy black creme polishes, this is right up your alley! I did 2 coats of Hadley. It had a nice, smooth application that was quick drying. Can't complain.

Zoya Tabitha |
|
Zoya Tabitha |
Zoya Tabitha is a "refined pearl in a deep hunter green". This is a nice, mysterious deep green polish. It's awesome. I was worried this would be too pearly but it looks nice, just brightens it up a little bit. I wore this one for a week and I got a lot of compliments on it. I did 3 coats of Tabitha. No issues with the formula. It was easy to build up the 3 coats and dry time was great.

Zoya Gal |
|
Zoya Gal |
Gal is a "smokey, iridescent, peridot gold metallic". This color is super interesting to look at with all the glitter and micro flakies floating around . I think as a full manicure, this polish is a lot... but I totally can see this in nail art or as an accent nail. I did 3 coats of Gal. It was a more sheer than I thought it would be but it was easy to build up. Only notable complaint is that it smelled funky... and it's a pain to clean up haha.
|
Zoya Elaine |
Zoya Elaine is a "
dark, umber brown cream". This is another blacked out creme polish, however this is is much more richer and darker than Hadley. In case you were wondering umber is actually a color, it's a very dark, earthy, reddish-brown similar to tree bark. Now that I googled that description, it totally makes sense in describing this polish. I did 2 coats of Elaine. The formula was identical to Hadley, easy to apply and quick drying.
|
Zoya Mona |
Mona is a "
deep, burgandy plum cream". This is a very vampy and rich polish. I LOVE IT! This polish always gives me 90s vibes in the best way possible. I did
1 coat of Mona. The formula was thick but very easy to work with. Can't complain about dry time, this one's a super winner in my book.
|
Zoya Yvonne |
Last but not least is Yvonne. Yvonne is a "
rich, bordeaux red cream". This polish is a hair lighter than Mona. Still a super pretty creme color. The red is more apparent on Yvonne. I did 2 coats of Yvonne. There were, 6 out of 6 polishes, no problems with application or dry time!

Zoya Mona (left) and Yvonne (right) |
As you can see Mona and Yvonne are VERY similar. To be honest, you probably only need one or the other. Buying both is a little redundant. But if ya gotta catch 'em all, go for it!
If you want to check out part one of the Sophisticates Collection (I reviewed over a month ago LOL!), you can find it
here. Which half of the collection do you like more? As much as I love part one's polishes, part two's darker polishes have my heart. Top picks from this half: Tabitha, Hadley, and Mona.
Hope you're having a great day!
