Zoya Bridal Bliss Collection [L->R] Bela, Avril, Rue, Snow White, Blu, and Abby |
Zoya Bela |
Bela is a "ballet slipper pink in a sheer, milky creme finish. Wear alone for a soft, semi-sheer feminine look or use as the base for a French, Nude manicure". I like how soft this polish is. It's a good palate cleanser to introduce this collection. I personally would not use it for a French mani, as Zoya suggests, but it is nice on its own.
I did 4 coats of Bela to even it out and build to opacity. I can't imagine how many coats I would need to make this a "flawless" French manicure as it seems only my pinky nail is 100% opaque. Dry time was okay but not the best for Zoya.
3/10/18 edit// Bela is also a re-release. I didn't research it before, but also per Google it was released quite awhile ago. I actually discovered while the movers were here, I had Bela sitting in my manicure kit when I did manicures for photoshoots LOL. So that's 6 out of 6 re-releases :-\
Zoya Avril |
Avril is a "soft neutral pink with light brown undertones in a milky creme base. The perfect universally-flattering nude". I really like this polish! I feel like I'll be reaching for this one quite often. This isn't a new polish for this collection, I've used it in previous manicures in 2012 haha. I can see why it's in this collection though.
I did 3 coats of Avril. The formula was nice and smooth, very easy to even out. This had a super awesome dry time, as most Zoya cremes do!
Zoya Rue |
I did 3 coats of Rue. In 2014, I did 3 coats as well which makes me happy to know the formula is consistent. Like my previous swatch, application and dry time was flawless.
Zoya Snow White |
Next is Snow White, "pure white creme that's as clean and bright as freshly-fallen snow". This is a flawless white. It really is super crisp and clean. This isn't a new release either (per the Google machine). I'd put this polish up there as one of my favorite white polishes.
I did 3 coats of Snow White. For a white creme polish, this had an UH-MAZ-ING dry time. Application was flawless and smooth. If you don't have a go-to white polish, give this one a shot. I'm curious as to how well this polish stamps, another day in another post I guess! :P
Zoya Blu |
Blu is a "soft and delicate pale baby blue with a glossy creme finish". This is a nice soft blue if you're in the market for a light, pastel blue. This does my red-ish toned skin zero favors though. This is another re-release for this collection. I originally, horribly, swatched Blu in 2013 with the Lovely Collection.
Just like 2013, I did 2 coats of Blu. This polish delivers very nice smooth an opaque coats. In addition for it being a pastel, this polish has an awesome dry time. If you like blue polishes and you don't own this one, you should buy it (I'm such a great salesperson LOL).
Zoya Abby |
I did 2 coats of Abby. This formula was another classic Zoya creme formula, smooth and amazing dry time. I can't complain!
So, yes most of this half of the collection is filled with repeat polishes but they are polishes worth seeing swatched again in my opinion. Snow White, Rue, and Avril are my favorites! Great softer shades that are perfect to wear year-round. Stay tuned for the 2nd half of the collection :]
Have a great weekend!
