ZOYA: Spring 2018 Thrive Collection [Darby, Trudith, Brandi, Monroe, Leisel, & Haruko]

Zoya Spring 2018 Thrive Collection
[L->R] Darby, Trudith, Brandi,
Monroe, Leisel, and Haruko
Long time no talk, my lovely readers! Since my last 2 posts, I've moved from San Diego, CA to Jacksonville, FL and celebrated a birthday in between. It's been a crazy month and we are finally getting settled and back to life! Today I finally have swatches of the Spring 2018 Thrive Collection from Zoya. This collection delivers a huge dose of color for the season. Check out the 6 new polishes after the jump!

Zoya Darby
Darby is a "dusty, gull gray metallic". This is a gorgeous dusty blue-grey polish. It has a subtle bright blue flash that is awesome when the light catches it right. Highly recommend this polish both: if you love blue or if you're on the fence about trying a blue. I did 2 coats of Darby. Excellent formula that is Zoya creme polish standard and the dry time was great as well.

Zoya Trudith
Trudith is a "muted, wisteria purple creme".  Two for two - loving this shade of purple. I like how it's very purple-y, but still soft. This is a very whimsical polish to me. I did 2 coats of Trudith. No complaints about this polish at all. The application was smooth and easy to work with, and dry time was great as well.

Zoya Brandi
Brandi is described as a "blush pink cream". I think every dang Spring I make some comment about how there's a pink polish and it's boring. Just like it's obligatory for Spring collections to have a pink polish, I still think it's boring LOL! However, it is a pretty pink... I just hate pink, sorry Zoyaaaaaa! I did 2 coats of Brandi. Perfect formula and application as usual, dry time was also fantastic. No complaints besides the pinkness.

Zoya Monroe
Monroe is a "glamour pink cream". No idea what shade glamour is haha but this really reminds me of a pinkish, red raspberry. I think this type of color looks fantastic on everyone and should be a staple for anyone's collection. Just like the perfect color, the formula was perfect as well. Application was smooth and flawless and the dry time was so quick! Just 2 quick coats were used for this manicure.

Zoya Leisel, swatched over Darby, Trudith, Brandi, and Monroe
Zoya Leisel, swatched over Darby, Trudith, Brandi, and Monroe
Leisel is a "sheer, sparkling topper" that ha a purple and pink iridescent shimmer. It's quite similar to Zoya Leia, without the gold flash. I love toppers like this because they are a fun and SUPER easy way to spice up any manicure. Check out Leisel swatched over Darby, freaking awesome y'all! I did 2 coats of Leisel over the 4 polishes above. You can build it up for more shimmer, or if you're looking for something a little more subtle - go for just one coat. Super smooth application and dry time was great.

Zoya Haruko
Haruko (which means "spring child" in Japanese) is a "soft, violet metallic". Haruko is very similar to Darby, not only in description but also  with the corresponding shimmer color. This polish has a bright purple shimmer that is subtle but lights up when it hits the light just right. This is a very pretty shade of violet and it's definitely a favorite. I did 3 coats of Haruko. It was a little on the thinner side but was easy to build up with no dry time problems :]

My favorites from this collection are Darby and Haruko. I think it's the shimmer paired with the unique shades, but really you can't go wrong with this collection... besides the useless pink LMAO jk. :P Thanks for patiently waiting for my swatches, I hope you enjoyed the post!

Happy Spring!
