ZOYA: Summer 2018 Sunshine Collection - PART I [ Marigold, Karen, Minnie, Clementine, Jack, & Nahla]

Zoya Summer 2018 Sunshine Collection
L->R: Marigold, Karen, Minnie, Clementine, Jack, and Nahla
*tap tap* Is this thing on? It's been awhile, HELLO! Today I have half of the Zoya 2018 Sunshine Collection. This collection is made up of mostly creme and 2 glitter polishes. In this post, I'm swatching the red, pink, and nude colors. Check them out after the jump!

Zoya Marigold
Zoya Marigold

Marigold is a "bright and dazzling micro-shimmer red". This is a nice red-orange shade that is perfectly bright for summer. The polish also has tiny gold flecks of shimmer running through it. I did 2 coats of Marigold. It was a nice smooth, full coverage application with an awesome dry time.

Zoya Karen

Karen is a "poppy red cream". This bright red reminds me of a strawberry! I think it's a good option if you're wanting to wear a red polish but you're looking to deviate from the usual classic red color. I did 2 coats of Karen. This had the usual Zoya cream polish formula - easy to apply and quick drying.

Zoya Minnie

Zoya Minnie is a "pink toned coral cream". This is an AWESOME color for summer. I feel like this shade of pink instantly makes you look tan haha. While I was swatching this color I had a flashback to middle school... where I used to paint my nails with this bright, coral pink Rose Art paint pen we were all obsessed with. It's probably good that there is now a nail polish in that color... since that probably wasn't healthy for my nails LOL!

I did about 3 coats of Minnie. Some nails had full coverage with 2 coats, others needed 3. Definitely with this polish, the more evenly the first coat is the less you will run into needing a 3rd coat. Otherwise, no issues!

Zoya Clementine
Zoya Clementine

Clementine is a "salmon toned coral with a pink and orange micro-shimmer". The shimmer in Clementine is not as pronounced as it is in Marigold, but it's a nice soft touch of sparkle for this shade. I did 3 coats of Clementine.  The formula was just slightly on the thinner side but each coat dries fast, which makes it easy to build to opacity.

Zoya Jack

Jack is described by Zoya as a "nude cream, perfect to match your morning latte". This is one of the few "nude" polishes I've swatched that I've ACTUALLY liked on me. In fact, I'm wearing it as I'm writing this post! Almond comes to mind when I think of this shade. I did 2 coats of Jack. It was nice and opaque and easy to apply. Dry time was great for a lighter polish.

Zoya Nahla over Jack
Zoya Nahla over Jack

Nahla is a "golden iridescent-holo topper with hints of multi-colored glitter with mega hex particles". This is a suppppper pretty glitter that can be worn easily over any color or on it's own. The iridescent flakies match perfectly with the gold glitter. I did 2 coats of Nahla over Jack. Really easy to apply this glitter and no fishing for gold glitter either.
