Zoya Summer 2019 Barefoot Collection
TOP: Set A - Joey, Tessa, Keira, Marcy, Liza, Robbie
BOTTOM: Set B - Dacey, Rie, Walker, Eleni, Bee, Dallas |
After a long time no swatch (haha) I present to you the Zoya Barefoot Collection! After somehow losing these polishes in a random box during our move 2 months ago, I can't wait to share a little summer with y'all. I love this summer collection from Zoya because it has a good mix of polishes for everyone. Plus, after 2018's summer collection [
Part I and
Part II] (just wasn't for me), I'm SO happy to see a wider variety of colors this year. Check out the swatches after the jump!
|
Zoya Nail Polish - Joey |
Joey is a "
lovely, warm light pink cream". A classic pink cream is always good to have one on hand, especially if it's more opaque than sheer (like this one). I did 3 coats.
|
Zoya Nail Polish - Tessa |
Tessa (my sister finally has a Zoya!) is a "
soft peach-toned salmon with a warm gold and coral micro-shimmer running throughout". If you like peach polishes, this is a great option. I did 3 coats of Tessa.
|
Zoya Nail Polish - Keira |
Keira is a "
medium sandy taupe with a light copper shimmer running throughout". Such a pretty polish in the bottle, definitely doesn't disappoint on the nail! A great color to go from summer to fall. I did 2 coats of Keira (I thought I'd need 3!).
|
Zoya Nail Polish - Marcy |
Marcy is a "
shimmering bright, hot coral". Red corals are one of my favorite shades of polish for summertime! So happy to add a shimmery version to my collection. It's been very popular in activewear this year and I've been in heaven haha. I did 2 quick coats of Marcy.
|
Zoya Nail Polish - Liza |
Liza is a "
rich, cardinal red cream". I feel like this is on the muted/dusty side of reds. Raspberry keeps coming to mind. This is one of those shades that will very pretty and flattering on every skin-tone! I did 2 coats of Liza.
|
Zoya Nail Polish - Robbie |
Last polish in
Set A is Robbie, a "
fizzy raspberry punch with a gold fleck". Such a pretty polish and awesome shade of pink, too. Glad to see this finish in this collection. I did 3 coats of Robbie.
|
Zoya Nail Polish - Dacey |
Starting off
Set B is Dacey, a "
classic hot pink cream". A very well executed classic, Barbie-esque, hot pink. I love the finish and the shade of pink. I did 3 coats of Dacey.
|
Zoya Nail Polish - Rie |
Rie is a "
cool-toned magnolia purple cream". I was OBSESSED with this shade of purple for a few years, it's just so prettttyyy! I did 2 perfect coats of Rie.
|
Zoya Nail Polish - Walker |
Walker is a "
deep ocean blue cream". YAAAAAAAAAASSSS, ZOYA! Now this is an awesome summer blue. I love how bright and pigmented it is. I did 2 coats of Walker.
|
Zoya Nail Polish - Eleni |
Zoya Eleni is a cool-toned "
light seafoam blue cream". I love this color so much. I did 3 coats of Eleni. Random Note: I wore this for about a week and I ended up with little to no tip wear. I paired it with Zoya's Armor top coat and for some reason they didn't get along. Over time it created large bubbles under the polish, it was strange... it was like everyday there were more and more bubbles.
|
Zoya Nail Polish - Bee |
Zoya Bee is a "
bright and uplifting pale yellow with a warm undertone" cream polish. I love how bright and sunny this is. Not a color for my skintone, but I really like this yellow. I did 3 coats of Bee.
|
Zoya Nail Polish - Dallas over Snow White |
Last but not least is a glitter topper: Zoya Dallas is a "
clear base with silver glitter, large white hexagonal glitter, and small white glitter running throughout". This is such a versatile glitter topper that would look awesome over any color. I went for a subtle look and layered 2 coats of Dallas over Zoya Snow White.
Hope you enjoyed these swatches even though we are on the brink of fall haha. I'm so happy with this Summer collection because there are so many great colors to choose from. And... to be honest though, all these can be worn year-round. Don't let seasons/trends dictate what color nail polish you want to wear ;]
