Lace and Lacquers: ZOYA: Holiday 2019 Twinkling Collection PART I [Kaede, Enza, Steph, Mai, Tieran, & Tanya]

Well, it's officially no longer Thanksgiving and start of the gift giving season! Today is Black Friday in the USofA so Zoya is running a great deal (linked at the bottom of this post). I figured it would be the perfect day to swatch part of the Winter 2019 Twinkling Collection in case you want to pick a few of these up. Check out my swatches after the jump!

Zoya Enza

Zoya Kaede over Enza

Enza is a warm-toned, "medium macadamia cream". Nothing too exciting about this one, but it's a nice neutral cream polish. I did 2 coats of Enza.

Zoya Steph

Zoya Kaede over Steph

Steph is a "muted Winter pink cream with a warm undertone". I like this soft, dusty pink. This reminds me of one of my favorite vintage Revlon polishes named Peach Petal, but muted. I did 3 thin coats of Steph.

Zoya Mai

Zoya Kaede over Mai

Mai is a warm-toned "sophisticated rosewood cream". This falls in the mauve catagory of nail colors, which I'm thrilled about. I love the way Kaede looks layered over Mai! I did 2 coats of Mai.

Zoya Tieran

Tieran is a "medium toned charcoal grey cream". I think this may be the first (or second time) I've swatched and like a grey nail polish on myself. This is such a unique shade of grey and I like that it leans towards the cooler side. I did 2 coats of Tieran and have put in my notes "best grey ever" haha.

Zoya Tanya

Zoya Kaede over Tanya

Next up is, Tanya is a "festive candy red cream". The perfect holiday red cream polish! It's so bright and cheery. I did 2 coats of Tanya. There was a little staining around my cuticles but a few handwashes would get rid of that IMHO.

Macro: Zoya Kaede

Last but not least is Ms. Kaede, a special effect topper made of "gold metallic fleck with holographic foil". The perfect holiday/New Years glitter topper! I love the variety of sizes and sparkle in this glitter. In all the swatches above, I did 1 coat of Kaede. It was super easy to apply and no need to dab around to get the glitter to cover the entire nail. Just a tip: Do be mindful of making sure the edges of the glitter are flat or else once the polish dries it can be kind of sharp.

My top polish picks from these would have to be: Tieran, Mai, and Kaede. That glitter topper is just to die for! I'll be back soon with the rest of the Twinkling Collection, in the mean time here is Zoya's Black Friday deal:
