Fingerpaints Sparkle Top Coat, OPI Damone Roberts 1968 and Jindie Nails Soul Surfing |
Going through my stash to decide what to purge before the big move (if you didn't see on my IG Stories, we are moving to Sasebo, Japan), and in typical Lacey fashion... I got distracted by layering pairings. So I present to you, after the jump: OPI Damone Roberts 1968 layered with Jindie Nails Soul Surfing and Fingerpaints Sparkle Top Coat.

I love OPI Damone Roberts 1968 in the bottle and on other people. The minute I put it on I hate how it looks on myself haha and then it grows on me and I never want to take it off. It's a vicious cycle every time I see/wear it, but I love this unique minty-pistachio shade of green. 3 coats.
I originally swatched Jindie Soul Surfing back in 2012. "Soul Surfing has pastel green and teal matte satin glitters glitters in several sizes/shapes in a clear base. It also has green and teal sparkle throughout". The suspension base has kind of given up 8 years later, so it was a bit of a struggle but was worth bottle rolling and brush fishing. I think there were some glitters I couldn't get on my nail but it was still pretty over Damone Roberts. 2 coats and a little dabbing.
Last, I added a layer of Fingerpaints Sparkle Top Coat, a simple iridescent glitter top coat, which happened to be sitting on my desk because... um why the hell not lol. I don't think they make this polish anymore, but I'm sure there are others very similar out there (especially in the indie universe).
Have a great Saturday afternoon!
Looks amazing :-D
